A 1,000 Reasons to Enter

Cathy DelVento (left) , executive director of Friends of 21st century Learning center, and Karen perrin, community liaison for Kathy’s place youth Center, have announced that the Youth center is hold­ing a raffle drawing fundraiser, Fall prize Extravaganza, featuring over $1000 in prizes. The Winthrop marketplace has donated the grand prize, a $500 gift card for food at the marketplace. The  draw­ing will be held at the holiday tree Lighting ceremony on Novem­ber 25. Tickets ( $1 per raffle, six for $5, and $20 for a book of 25) are on sale at Kathy’s Place Youth Center Arthur T. Cummings School. Tickets will also be sold at Winthrop marketplace, WHS football games at miller Field, and on weekends in French square. all pro­ceeds from the raffle will go Kathy’s place youth center.
