Police Blotter 05-12-2011

May 2

7:54 – Police responded to a Revere Street residence on a report of a verbal domestic dispute.

8:13 a.m. — Officers send a woman out of the area. She might have been looking into parked cars in the area of Temple Avenue.

11:36 a.m. —Robert Hanson,  37, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and an expired inspection sticker, as well as for possessing a container of alcohol.

8:16 p.m. —A resident reports having a problem with a resident on Shirley Street. She wants the matter placed on the record.

May 3

2:59 a.m. —WPD receives a call from a child saying someone had just hit his mother. The incident happened in East Boston. When contacted, the woman refused medical aid.

3:33 a.m. — A Forrest Street resident reports there is a man “wearing all black” is inside her bedroom. The suspect was gone by the time units responded, but he reportedly left behind a cell phone.

2:10 p.m. — A Terrace Avenue resident reports that the retaining wall at the back of her home was “tagged.”

2:54 p.m. —A  landlord reports being assaulted by one of his tenants

3:20 p.m. —A party reports witnessing a domestic situation in which a male prevented a female from exiting a car. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

5:15 p.m. — Officers respond to a domestic dispute at Thornton Park.

5:23 p.m. — A caller reports a male is hitting his mother with a skateboard. Dispute turned out to be verbal, and no action was necessary.

11 p.m .— Officers ask a Morton Street resident to turn down his music.

May 5

11:10 a.m. — A caller reports a car just drive past her and her daughter at a high rate of speed. Officers are unable to locate the driver.

1:50 p.m. — A Lexington resident reports that someone smashed in his rear passenger window while it was parked at the Town Landing.

9:17 p.m. —Paula Howard, 49, of Winthrop, was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, while Paul V. Mucci, 47, of Winthrop, was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon, domestic assault and battery,  and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon following a call to a Read Street apartment.

10:22 p.m. —Officers respond to a Sunsent Road residence on a call of unwanted guests.
