Last week the Winthrop CLEAR Team (Community & Law Enforcement Assisted Recovery) and the Winthrop Police Department hosted their annual memorial and recovery event. Starting from Winthrop’s Town Hall and ending at the Middle School gymnasium. At the Middle School refreshments were served to all that joined in the memorial walk, and the evenings program featured speeches from recovery survivors.
The crowd gathered outside the EB Newton School where the markers of loved ones to be remembered were placed, for the candlelight vigil.
