Members of the 1976 Division 1 state champion Winthrop High School ice hockey team celebrated its dream season at the Winthrop Golf Course.
The players reminisced about their incredible 26-0-1 season under the direction of head coach, the late Bill Falasca.
The Vikings completed their historic run with a 4-1 victory over Springfield Cathedral at the Boston Garden. Winthrop was one of a select group of public school teams to capture a Division 1 state title in the State Tournament during the 20th century.
