Upcoming Changes to CASA Programming

Upcoming Changes to CASA Programming

Dear Editor,

We are writing to share an important update regarding CASA’s program schedule.

Beginning September 4th, our program will be closed on Fridays and will operate Monday through Thursday.

We understand that any change to our schedule can have an impact on the families we serve, and this was not a decision we made lightly. Like many nonprofit and youth-serving organizations across the country, we are navigating an increasingly challenging funding environment, rising operating costs, and difficult decisions about how to best use the resources available to us.

After careful consideration, we determined that adjusting our weekly schedule is a necessary step to help ensure that we can continue providing safe, accessible, consistent, and high-quality programming for young people free of charge while maintaining the long-term sustainability of the program.

We recognize that Fridays may be an important part of some families’ schedules, and we understand that this change may create challenges. We are sharing this information as early as possible so families have time to plan and make any necessary arrangements.

Our commitment to the young people and families in our community has not changed. We remain focused on providing meaningful experiences, supportive relationships, and a safe environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.

We are grateful for your understanding, your partnership, and your continued support of our program and the young people we serve.

We are disappointed

Dear Editor,

I am the home owner of 16 Court Rd Winthrop, MA 02152.

Please see the picture below. The usage of this material to refill the sidewalk completely destroys the aesthetics of our home and decreases our home value.

Please send a crew to our home tomorrow to fix this issue.

As 11 year residents, we are extremely disappointed.
