Triplets Set Off in Different Directions for College

With graduation Friday night, new graduates are planning to kick off their summer and get ready for their college careers.

While the majority of students don’t go beyond the state line, there are some who long to venture to new areas. Elizabeth and Kim McDuffee are two-thirds of a set of triplets, and while their brother, Robert is continuing his education at a vocational school specializing in welding in Massachusetts, the two girls are heading in opposite directions.

“It’s going to be hard because we are so used to being around each other,” said Kim, who has always been active in track. “It will be an adjustment.”

Elizabeth, will be going north to the University of Maine to study marine biology. She always had an interest in sea life, and hopes to focus her studies on sharks.

Kim, on the other hand, is heading down south to the University of Mississippi to study finance and business.

While both girls admitted that they are as opposite as two siblings could be, they are best friends and it’s going to be quite a change for both of them, as well as their brother who is equally close and a mix of both of their personalities.
