Raise Funds for Fireworks

The annual fundraising for the Fourth of July fireworks has begun, according to Fire Chief Paul Flanagan, and yes, this year’s fireworks will be on the Fourth!

Donation can be sent to the Winthrop Fireworks Fund, 40 Pauline St., Winthrop, MA 02152.

 

Community Resiliency Building & Listening Session

Town of Winthrop Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Plan will hold a listening session on May 8 at 7 p.m. in the EB Newton Community Center 45 Pauline St., Lyceum Room.

The Listening Session will include a brief presentation summarizing the Community Resiliency Building Workshop held on April 6, and update attendees about the information gathered from this event. A question and answer session will also be included to gather information from the public regarding your feedback on vulnerabilities and strengths in Winthrop!
