Superintendent of Schools John Macero has said that Winthrop Public Schools will be in session until June 26. He said that despite the winter the school department only has to make up two snow days.
The only other option involved seeking a waiver from the state Department of Education or dipping into April vacation time.“As long as we have no more snow days the last day will be June 26,†Macero said.
