Congratulations to Judge McDonald

We offer our congratulations to new First Chief Justice of the East Boston District Court, the Honorable John E. McDonald, who received his oath of office at an impressive ceremony last week at the courthouse. It was great to see our town officials, Town Manager James McKenna, Council President Peter Gill, Fire Chief Paul Flanagan, Police Chief Terence Delehanty, Police Officer Michael Delehanty, and current Clerk Magistrate Joseph Faretra at the ceremony.

Justice McDonald succeeds Justice Robert Ronquillo, who is the new Chief Justice of the Boston Municipal Court.

Justice McDonald is a graduate of Boston College and the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
