Great Reception – WCAT cookout was a big success

Mike Cabral, executive director of Winthrop Cable Access Television (WCAT), was thrilled by the turnout at WCAT’s third annual cookout Saturday at the Lodge of Elks. We understand he had to order more food as people from all areas of the town showed up to support the station’s effort to replace some of its equipment.

Mike Cabral has built one of the finest local access stations in the Commonwealth and his professional, live coverage of the Town Council and School Committee meetings are enjoyed by the thousands of residents who follow the actions of our major boards closely.

Congratulations on a great cookout and continued success at WCAT, Mike.
