Helping Hands – Lee Nugent the Winthrop Police Dept.’s new domestic violence advocate

The Winthrop Police Department has made a very wise decision to add Lee Nugent to its office as a domestic violence advocate for Winthrop residents. You need only look at the news to see the rise in domestic violence nationwide to understand that a person with Ms. Nugent’s expertise and focus on this important issue will be a benefit to those who seek her assistance. She can direct all of her energies toward this problem while working closely with our police department.

We wish Ms. Nugent well as she begins her vital work on domestic violence cases.
