Bernard T. “Bernie” Costigan of Winthrop passed away at home on July 29th, 2026. Judy, Tom and his wife, Eileen, Jim and his wife, Maura andf the late Rosie and Kathy.; cherished son of the late Bernie and Marilyn and survived by many loving family members and friends.

Bernie was an engineer with the telephone company for many years before retiring and becoming “busier than ever” while taking care of his beloved grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoyed being a member of the Auxiliary Police and later reuniting with his fellow drummers in the Misslemen.
