Doris M. Farren

Retired Logan Airport foreign currency exchange teller

Doris M. (Beaulieu) Farren, formerly of Winthrop,  passed away on November 16, 2025. She was 89 years old. Doris was the beloved wife of the late John M. Farren. Born in Lawrence, she was the cherished daughter of the late Philip and Germaine (Hamel) Beaulieu.

Prior to her retirement, Doris worked at Logan Airport in East Boston as a foreign currency exchange teller. Doris and John enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas to take in the shows and do a little gambling. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family, whether it was at a family outing or watching various sporting events.

Doris was the devoted mother of Michael J. Farren and his companion, Theresa Visconti, Linda S. Keller and her husband, Richard, Patrick J. Farren and his wife, Deborah and Sean K. Farren, all of Winthrop and Kerry A. Stetson of Jacksonville, NC. She was the adored grandmother of Steven, John, Jessica and Eric Keller, Marisa Farren, Tyler Farren and Bryan, Erica, Michael, Nicolas and Rokie, Jr, Stetson;  the dear sister of Elaine Hamhitefield, NH and the late Henry Beaulieu and his surviving wife Pauline of Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours were held in St. John the Evangelist Church, (St, Michael the Archangel Parish), 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop, on Wednesday, November 19 f followed by a Funeral Mass. and services concluded with burial in Winthrop Cemetery.
