Corrinne F. McInnes

Dec. 20, 1981 — Oct. 13, 2025

Corrinne F. McInnes, beloved daughter, loving sister and cherished granddaughter, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She was 43 years old.

Born on December 20, 1981, in West Point, New York, Corrinne was the daughter of the late John M. McInnes and Debra (Palecki) Inacio. She was raised in Winthrop and loved playing soccer when she was younger. She graduated in 2000 from Winthrop High School and went on to become a pharmacy technician. Corrinne loved all animals, but most especially dogs.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Debra (Palecki) Inacio and her loving brother, Bradley Tirrell.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 11a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 209 Beach Street, Revere, MA.

David Zullo

Co-owner of Six Enterprises

David Zullo, 46, of Winthrop, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, after a short and devastating illness.

Born on September 1, 1979, to the late James and Roberta (Barbarisi) Zullo, Dave was a devoted husband, father, godfather, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. His life was centered around his wife, Kerri, daughter, Bella, his extended family and friends, and his business, Six Enterprises, which he proudly co-owned with his friend Mike Feudo.

Dave is survived by all those who loved him: his wife, Kerri Quist; cherished daughter, Bella Zullo, and her boyfriend, Brady Gaughan; siblings: Pamela Cardillo and her husband, Richie, Elizabeth Nunberg and her husband, Robert, and James Zullo and his wife, Nancy; aunt, Candy Barbarisi; in-laws, Kenny and Denise Quist; sister-in-law, Katelyn Quist Zelaya and her husband, Daniel; and brother-in-law. Kenneth Quist and his wife, Alycia.

Dave will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and the countless friends whose lives he touched.

He will be remembered by many as “Strong Like Bull”—fiercely protective, incredibly generous, and always ready to drop everything for those he cared about. Whether you saw him today, yesterday, or months ago, Dave made you feel like family. He loved deeply and was deeply loved in return.

Ernest C. Caggiano

His life reflected a deep belief in faith, service, and community

Ernest C Caggiano, longtime president of the Caggiano Funeral Home in Winthrop, passed away October 15, 2025, surrounded by family. He was the beloved son of the late Grace (Ferrara) and Ernest P. Caggiano. He resided in East Boston before moving to Winthrop when he was 12 years old. Ernie dedicated nearly seven decades to serving his community with compassion, professionalism, and civic pride.

A graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston College, and the New England Institute of Anatomy and Embalming, Ernest became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1957. He joined the family business full time in 1955 and simultaneously ran the Caggiano Ambulance Service. His skill and dedication led to his selection as an embalming instructor at the New England Institute, where he taught for more than 12 years, and to his participation in forensic work on several airline crash investigations in Boston.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ernest served his country and state with distinction. He was a member of the ROTC at Boston College and maintained his military affiliation for more than four decades, retiring in 1998 as a Colonel in the Massachusetts Defense Force. Over the years, he served as a Military Aide de Camp to five Massachusetts governors and as Commander of the Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts.

Ernest’s lifelong commitment to service extended well beyond his professional and military roles. He held leadership positions in numerous civic, religious, and charitable organizations, including the Winthrop Housing Authority, the Don Orione Home, the Rotary Club of Winthrop, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the Winthrop Lodge of the Sons of Italy. A devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church, he served as a lector and eucharistic minister.

He was the devoted husband of the late Annette M. “Nettie” (Piscitelli). He is survived by his children: Peter A. Caggiano and his wife, Andrea of Winthrop, Mark J.T. Caggiano of Brookline, Lisa G. Caggiano of Winthrop, and Christopher Caggiano of Stamford, Connecticut.; dear brother of the late Joseph Caggiano, Marie Mann and Frances Driscoll; cherished grandfather of Ariana C. Daniels and her husband, Tommy, Peter A. Caggiano, Jr., Nicholas Cochran-Caggiano and his wife, Mariah, and Alyssa Rose Cochran-Caggiano and her husband, Jacob Heilmann and great grandfather of Lily and Katherine Cochran-Caggiano.

Ernest’s life reflected a deep belief in faith, service, and community. His example endures in the many lives he touched and the traditions he helped to build.

The funeral was conducted from the Caggiano-O’Maley-Frazier Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church. Services concluded with the interment in the Cross Street section of Winthrop Cemetery.
