Sunday, August 17
0023: Officers dispersed a loud group of youths from the backyard of a Shirley St. residence.
1535: A person came into the station to report that his cell phone had been stolen from the vacuum section at a local car wash. When he called his number, a person answered and said he would have to pay $150 to get his phone back. The officer filed a report.

0132: An officer issued parking tickets to 10 vehicles without resident parking stickers on Court Rd.
0752: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Winthrop St. for the civil moving infraction of violating the hands-free law. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
— An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Shirley and Underhill Sts. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
— An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of a red light violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.

0857: An officer dispersed a person sleeping in a camper from the Public Landing.
1104: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of an equipment violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1123: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Hermon St. for the civil moving infraction of a marked lanes violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1300: An officer informed persons who had a pod storage container on Somerset Ave. that they are required to obtain a permit from the DPW.
1401: A person called the station to report that his foot had been run over by a motor vehicle that was backing up at the Mobil Mart on Main St. The victim was transported to the MGH.
1809: A Fremont St. resident reported that a pet bird flew into her apartment through an open window. She said she would hold onto the bird to await a call from the owner.
1813: Officers responded to a two-car auto accident at Walden and Lincoln Sts. The airbags deployed and one of the vehicles was leaking fluids. One person was transported to the hospital. An officer issued a citation to one of the operators. Both vehicles were towed.
2337: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Winthrop St. for the civil moving infraction of a lane violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.

0021: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shore Drive for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
0050: An officer dispersed a person in a motor vehicle from Hannaford Park, which is closed after dark.

0814: An officer ordered a tow for a motor vehicle with $641.26 in unpaid parking tickets. When a female party became disorderly, the officers arrested Jacqueline R. Reddington, 36, of 59 Sewall Ave., for the criminal offense of disorderly conduct.
1208: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of excessive window tint. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1252: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Shirley and Forrest Sts. for the civil moving infraction of a one-way violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1314: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Ocean View St. for the civil moving infraction of a one-way violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1659: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of a one-way violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1732: A Central St. resident came into the station to drop off a bicycle that he had found in his driveway.
1822: An officer stopped a motor vehicle in the car wash on Main St. and arrested the operator, Hector M. Pinillos-Gonzalez, 31, of East Boston, for the criminal offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. His vehicle was towed.
1930: An officer directed persons doing construction work with a drill on a retaining wall to cease doing so for the night.
2105: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Washington Ave. for the civil moving infraction of an equipment violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2112: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2135: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infraction of a number plate violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2154: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Revere St. for the civil moving infraction of an equipment violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2237: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infraction of operating without headlights after dark. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.

0802: Officers responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident between a Honda HR-V and a truck at Pauline and Pleasant Sts. Witnesses at the scene said the truck failed to stop for a red light. A female operator was transported to the MGH and her dog was brought to a residence. The Honda was towed. The officer filed a report.
1054: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle drove into a utility pole at Washington Ave. and Veterans Rd. The vehicle was towed.
1259: A tow company reported the trespass tow of a motor vehicle from Governors Park.
1303: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of a crosswalk violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1426: A tow company reported the trespass tows of two motor vehicles from Governors Park.
1753: Officer Carter assisted a family with the installation of a child car seat.
2016: A tow company reported the trespass tow of a motor vehicle from Governors Park.
