Scenes from Winthrop Juneteenth Celebration at EB Newton School

State Senator Lydia Edwards joined local officials, candidates, and community members today for a special Juneteenth flag-raising ceremony at the EB Newton School in Winthrop. The event commemorated Juneteenth, celebrating the enduring fight for freedom and equality.

Senator Edwards also penned a powerful message for the Mass Dems newsletter, reaching over 50,000 subscribers, reflecting on the significance of Juneteenth.
