Until her last days, she remembered the granddaughters she adored, Adina Ashawini (Sweet Vickery) Maniscalco and Erika (Sweet) Nugiel. During her life living in Winthrop by the Sea, Esta made her career as a legal secretary in Boston.  Her recreational time was mostly spent helping to create and participate in numerous events in support of Winthrop’s Jewish Community. She and Harold truly enjoyed socializing with their friends.  Together they enjoyed travelling and making memories. No matter where she was or who she was with, she was well-known for her wit and humor.

Upon retirement, Esta recreated herself and her unique way of seeing the world by taking art classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and becoming an accomplished painter and member of Winthrop’s Art Association. Her work was loved and displayed by those in Winthrop and Florida.
