Monday, January 20
0923: An officer ordered a tow and issued a parking ticket for a motor vehicle blocking traffic on Beacon St.
0947: Officers responded to a minor two-car motor vehicle accident at Shirley St. and Veterans Rd. There were no injuries. The officer filed a report.
1050: An officer put back in place a manhole cover that was lying in the roadway at Pico Ave. and Francis St.
1321: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Walden St. and Walden Place for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1841: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1857: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1901: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of a window obstruction. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1926: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator for that offense, as well as for the civil infraction of not having his registration in his possession.
1953: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2001: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for a civil moving infraction. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2103: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2107: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for a civil moving infraction. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2116: Officers responded to a report of a noise disturbance in an apartment building on Shirley St. The officers spoke to all parties involved and restored the peace.
2129: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Shirley and Moore Sts. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
Tuesday, January 21
0722: An officer ordered a tow for a disabled motor vehicle that was obstructing traffic at Magee’s Corner. The officer gave a courtesy ride home to the operator and filed a report.
1013: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil motor vehicle infraction of a number plate violation and impeded operation (both the registration plate and the rear windshield were covered with snow) and issued a citation to the operator.
1242: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Walden St. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1415: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Walden St. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1458: An officer ordered a tow for a parked motor vehicle on Woodside Ave. with a registration revoked for insurance cancellation, which is a criminal offense. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1539: A local restaurant reported the repeated larceny of food orders by means of fraudulent/stolen credit cards. The officer filed a report.
1626: A person came into the station to report being defrauded of $2850 for the first/last month rent for a local apartment that was listed on Craig’s List. The officer filed a report.
1702: An Overlook Drive resident reported that her dog ran out of her yard.
1718: An officer reported finding the runaway dog from the previous call on Locust St. and returned it to the owner.
1815: An officer assisted the parties with the exchange of papers at a minor motor vehicle accident on Woodside ave.
2059: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
Wednesday, January 22
0004: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
0022: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of a red light violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
0204: An officer issued parking tickets to 15 vehicles without resident parking stickers on Veterans Rd.
1229: An officer ordered a tow for an unregistered motor vehicle that was parked at Larsen Rink. The officer filed a report.
1616: A Governor’s Park resident came into the station to report a stolen package. The officer filed a report.
1744: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Veterans Rd. involving a police cruiser and a Dodge Ram pickup truck. The officers arrested Joseph Clemens, 22, of 33 Myrtle Ave., for the criminal offenses of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for the civil moving infractions of speeding, a marked lanes violation, and having an open container of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. Both vehicles were towed.

0142: An officer issued nine parking tickets to vehicles at the Public Landing.
0808: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.

1143: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Crest Ave. for the civil moving infractions of operation of a motor vehicle with an expired registration and violating the hands-free law. The officer issued a citation to the operator and ordered the vehicle to be towed.
1219: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Revere St. for the civil moving infractions of speeding and violating the hands-free law. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1240: Officers responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident at Hermon and Lincoln Sts. Neither vehicle was towed. The officer filed a report.
1338: An officer ordered a tow for a tractor-trailer on Main St. When the officer discovered that the operator did not have a valid CDL license, he issued citations both to the operator and the company for that offense.
1403: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pauline St. for the civil moving infraction of violating the hands-free law. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1512: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Veterans Rd. for the civil moving infraction of a marked lanes violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2306: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of an expired inspection sticker. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
Friday, January 24
0127: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance among three persons in the middle of Hutchinson St. The officers spoke to the parties, who were on their way home.
0151: A tow company reported the trespass tow of a motor vehicle from Governor’s Park.
1249: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Cross and Almont Sts. for the civil moving infraction of a stop sign violation. When the officer discovered that the vehicle was unregistered, which also is a civil infraction, he ordered the vehicle to be towed and issued
a citation to the operator for both infractions.
— An officer ordered a tow for a motor vehicle with an expired registration, which is a civil infraction, on Main St.
— An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for a civil moving infraction. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
1402: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Cross St. for the civil moving infraction of a one-way violation. When the officer discovered that the vehicle’s registration was revoked for insurance cancellation, which is a criminal offense, the officer ordered the vehicle to be parked in a driveway on Ingleside Rd. The officer gave the operator, who was driving for an elderly man, a verbal warning for the one-way infraction.
1507: An officer issued a parking ticket to a vehicle parked in the handicapped spot at Plummer and Woodside Aves. When the officer determined that the operator did not have a valid license, which is a criminal offense, he issued a citation to her. A person with an active license was able to take over operation of the vehicle.
1539: A person came into the station to report a hit-and-run accident on Woodside Ave. Tbe officer filed a report.
1619: A resident called the station to report an identity theft. The officer filed a report.
1818: Officer Carter assisted a family with the installation of a child car seat.
Saturday, January 25
0918: An officer ordered a tow for a motor vehicle with a registration revoked for insurance cancellation that was parked at the Public Landing.
0924: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Shirley St. and Washington Ave. for the civil moving infraction of impeding traffic flow. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
1049: An officer ordered tows for two parked vehicles on Veterans Rd. for the criminal offense of attaching plates that were not registered to those vehicles.
1102: A report of a possible water main break on Siren St. was referred to the DPW.
1133: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Shirley St. for the civil moving infraction of violating the hands-free law. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2041: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infraction of operating without headlights after dark. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator.
2102: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infraction of an equipment violation. The officer gave a verbal warning to the operator, informing him that he is not allowed to have off-colored lights on the front of his vehicle.
Sunday, January 26
0117: An officer issued parking tickets to seven vehicles without resident parking stickers on Highland Ave.
0730: An officer directed a person who was loading trash into a truck on Sea View Ave. that such work is not permitted on Sunday per the town by-law.,
0851: An officer directed the operator of a vehicle blocking a driveway on Cliff Ave. to move the vehicle.
1040: The Animal Control Officer corralled a dog running around at Winthrop and Lincoln Sts. and brought it home to its owner on Centre St.
1217: A person came into the station to turn in a gold ring with diamonds that she had found at Ingleside Park. The officer filed a report.
1930: An officer stopped a motor vehicle at Banks and Morton Sts. for the civil moving infraction of a one-way violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2251: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of a red light violation. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2313: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Pleasant St. for the civil moving infractions of, speeding, a red light violation, and excessive window tint. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2335: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infractions of speeding, after-market lighting, and excessive window tint. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
2358: An officer stopped a motor vehicle on Main St. for the civil moving infraction of speeding. The officer issued a citation to the operator.
