Ralph Tufo Will Hold Book-Signing Event Sunday at Deane Winthrop House Barn

Winthrop author and musician Ralph Tufo will hold a children’s book-signing and family event Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at the Deane Winthrop House Barn.

Tufo will be autographing copies of his book, “Brotherly Love: A Seemore the Seagull Tale.” He will also read from his book and lead a Sea Chantey Sing-A-Long.

There will be art and photo displays, children’s coloring activities, and light snacks and refreshments.

Tufo’s book is the second in a series. The books’ scenes are based in Revere and Winthrop.

“I’m very proud of this book,” said Tufo, who was recently accepted into ELLA’s Way, a collaborative of children’s books that were written with themes of inclusion, diversity, and accessibility.

Steven Levin, who provided the photographs for Tufo’s book, will be at the event. The book’s illustrator, Jory Mason, and publisher, Robin Nelson of Leaning Rock Press, will also be in attendance.

The event is free of charge.
