Officials Announce COVID-19 Community Vaccination Clinics

Interim Town Manager Terence Delehanty and Health Director Meredith Hurley urge residents still seeking a COVID-19 vaccination to attend a clinic this week.

Those wishing to be vaccinated must sign up in advance here. Parents who wish to have their child vaccinated also must submit a signed consent form, found here.

The Town will host a clinic on Thursday, May 27, from 4-7 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 320 Winthrop St. The clinic will be held in the gymnasium, which can be entered from the Lincoln Street side of the church. This clinic is open to any community member still in need of a vaccine. Those wishing to be vaccinated must sign up in advance here.

Both clinics will dispense the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, which has been approved for those ages 12 and older.

Attendees at both clinics will be required to follow current Massachusetts guidelines on masking and social distancing.

“The Town and Health Department want to make sure every resident who wants a vaccination has the opportunity to receive one,” Director Hurley said. “I urge all who are eligible and have not yet gotten vaccinated to do so, which will bring us that much closer to achieving community immunity.”
