Uplift Yourself with Laughter Something to Smile About

Those Who Can for Those In Need held the 6th Annual Uplift Yourself with Laughter at Giggles Comedy Club on April 3. The fundraiser benefits the non-profit organization’s fall Resource-Volunteer Fair, which provides information about Greater Boston and North Shore organizations in categories such as substance abuse, health and disease issues, and disabilities.

Guests donated boxes of diapers and baby wipes for Housing Families, that’s Director of Advocacy & Homelessness Prevention, and Interim CEO, Laura Rosi, received the fourth annual Those Who Can Award in recognition of her humble service. Rosi has been working with Housing Families since 2008, is a board member for Homes for Families, and a member of the Real Estate/Affordable Housing Section of the Boston Bar Association.

“Housing Families is a special place,” said Rosi. “Our mission is to end family homelessness, and we can’t do it alone. We pride ourselves on being an organization that offers support and a place for growth in a kind way. I’m proud of the organization.” Visit www.TWCTIN.org for resources regarding the elderly, loss of a loved one
