HOOK THE CURE STRIPER DERBY
Dear Editor,
The Winthrop Elks is holding it’s annual “Hook the Cure Striper Derby†proceeds to benefit the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research.The date is Saturday Aug. 25 with fishing starting from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a cost $25 per angler.
Applications can be picked up at the Elks and must be in by Friday, Aug. 24.
There is also a bbq at $10 per person for non-anglers with DJ Crazy Jeff and raffles. Donations are always much appreciated and can be picked up, bbq tickets delivered or questions answered by calling Johnny Floyd at 617-846-5674.
