Monday, March 26

Party came to the station to report that someone fraudulently cashed a check in his name.

Caller from Fort Heath Apartments states that in the parking lot of Hanford Park, there is a car that has been parked there for three days with a restricted sticker. Motor vehicle towed to G&J.

Minor motor vehicle accident on Revere Street with no injuries. The other party left Cumberland Farms before the officer arrived. Caller was advised to go to RPD and report the incident.

Caller states that there is a barrel it the middle of Revere Street causing traffic because it is taking up too much space and cars cannot pass each other. Items are due to construction but vehicles can get by.

Report that in the carwash music is much too loud.

A woman from Lincoln Street came in to report coming home from work and finding strange objects taped to her door. The person responsible also wrote a note. The party filled out a victim/witness report.

Report of a party using 94C in the middle of street near Villa and Winthrop Street. Unit reports speaking with the party and there was confusion between the calling party and the party in question.

Party came in to report finding a firearm in the rafters of her godmother’s apartment. The firearm was secured by W91 officer Bolster.

 

Tuesday, March 27

Sergeant off assisting a party on Shirley Street who appears under the weather. He stood by while a ride picked up the female and is taking her home.

Officers met up with State Police on Shore Drive and Grovers Avenue. DCR may be on the scene. It is a situation involving property damage. 91 reports vandalism that offered to the DCR construction workers. This occurred on state’s jurisdiction. SP will take care of it.

91 reports an East Boston elderly service van has broken down in the middle of the road in front of the police station. 91 will stand by for the safety of the public until the tow company arrives 91 reports he was able to get the van out of the intersection and park it on the side of the road. Topics Tow en route.

Party came to the station to report additional checks that he discovered that were fraudulently drawn from his account.

An anonymous caller reports a crane parked in the Delby’s Corner municipal lot that she believes should not be there. 91 reports the crane is parked way in the back of the lot. They are moving boats, and there is no safety issue.

Caller from Governors’ Park states that a package that she had delivered from Amazon was just stolen. She stated that this has happened several times recently. 93 reports he spoke to the caller and this is possibly an issue with the Amazon van driver which may be marking the package delivered but in reality they are not. 93 will search around the complex and downtown for the van. He put out a BOLO to all units for a white van with Wisconsin plates. 93 is off with the van and reports the driver let him review the delivery log which showed zero deliveries to Governor’s Park. He also informed 93 that there are two vans with Wisconsin plates i the area. 93 searching for the other van. 93 states he spoke to the other van driver who showed the log had zero deliveries to Governor’s Park. The driver spoke to his manager who stated that the package ay have been delivered by UPS or the post office.

91 and 94 dispatched to Pauline Street after a party made entrance into the fire station when Engine 2 was off on a call. The party first rang the emergency  bell, then entered the station. Units cleared from location after finding out that the party had been invited and there were still fire personnel left in the station after they were dispatched.

91 and 94 dispatched to resolve a dispute between a homeowner and contractor working on a house on Hermon Street. The contractor states that he has not been paid his money for the work done. After informing him that this is a civil matter, he stated he was actively verbally arguing with the homeowner. Units were sent for to restore the peace. It was a misunderstanding between the two and everything was fine.

Unit off investigating a suspicious white male on the corner of Wave Way Avenue. Unit spoke with people in the area and did not find anything suspicious at the time.

Report of a syringe on Shirley Street. Syringe was found and properly disposed of.

Motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Bowdoin Street. Papers were exchanged and one vehicle towed from the scene.

Party on Bellevue Avenue reports that someone tried to break into her apartment when she was at work. She suspects that it was her daughter that lives in the building. Unit advised the caller of her rights of a restraining order.

 

Wednesday, March 28

Caller on Winthrop Street reports that people making loud noise. Unit spoke to the party and they are stopping for the night. Parties voluntarily cleaned up the mess they made on the street.

93 to assist WFD with traffic for their report of fire on Loring Road. It was a short circuit in the stove.

Caller on Strand Way states there has been a Honda parked about 3 feet from the public stairs to the beach for over a month now. It is unmoved and untouched. She stated that no one in the neighborhood knows who it belongs to. 91 reports no parking sign is posted, and he will tag both cars.

Lynn District faxed over a summons for service upon individual on Hutchinson Street. 93 reports no one home at this time.

Party on Johnson Avenue has been receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance trying to get her financial information. She can not get to the station and would like a unit. 92 states he spoke to the caller. It was telemarketers who have been calling her and not the party first thought to be making the harassing calls. They called back the telemarketers and were advised to stop calling her.

Caller on Grovers Avenue received a call from a foreign number. Caller reported that the party that called him stated that they had kidnapped his daughter. They then put the daughter o the phone. The caller reports his daughter is not old enough to talk, but is concerned that something may happen  because they know all of his personal information. 93 reports he spoke to the caller and informed him it is a scam.

Party on Beacon Street reports that one white male and two white females claimed that they were from National Grid and asked to see his bills. Headquarters said no one had pulled a permit for this. Unable to locate the parties at this time. Spoke to the caller and advised him if they come back to call us.

Attempted to serve multiple warrants to individual on Washington Avenue. One in custody.

Report of two black females going door to door on Myrtle Avenue. Clear, searched the area and surrounding streets and unable to locate the two females.

Revere Delta 6 executing a search warrant for individual on Siren Street.

Male party on Pauline Street will not leave premises. He keeps ringing the bell. Units clear, spoke to the reporting party and searched the area. Unable to locate the male.

 

Thursday, March 29

Officers with an individual pushing a diatribe on Shirley Street. Officers report one in custody. G&J responded for the dirt bike. Male in custody for protective custody. Dirt bike was towed for public safety reasons.

Unit off on a well-being check for resident at Governors Park. Clear, will try to get resident some help through programs.

Attempt to serve summons to individual on Hutchinson Street. Party not home at this time. Will attempt later.

A vehicle on Centre Street is making it difficult to get into a driveway of caller. No violations at this time.

Caller on Court Road states there is a storm drain that people are tripping over. DPW contacted and are on the site now.

Suspicious activity reported on Almont and Revere Streets. It was a field interview.

Possible disturbance between two young females and an elderly female with her 4-year-old granddaughter at Massa Park. It was a misunderstanding.

MRG Revere called asking we do a person check on individual on Coral Avenue. She may be unstable. Sierra 4 reports spoke to the party who was sorry, angry and made a few comments at the MGH that she should not have said. She is on her way to a medical appointment.

Report of construction being done on Tafts Avenue. They are working for the town and have the proper permits.

Caller stated that she saw a suspicious silver pickup truck pulling into Hannaford Park. Vehicle left prior to unit’s arrival.

There are about six people in Hannaford Park making noise. Units clear, as everyone checks out. They were there with their coach and just won a soccer championship. They were listening to some music and celebrating. They were unaware that the park closed at 9 p.m., and will be leaving.

 

Friday, March 30

Employee and owner of dentist office on Main Street states a lock has been put on the door that was not there yesterday. They do not know where it came from. Officer spoke to the subject. They will handle the problem as it is not the actual door lock but a lock box.

Resident on Bartlett Road states that he went to get into his vehicle this morning and realized the front bumper was damaged overnight. He states there are pieces of the vehicle that hit him on the ground. Damage to the right side bumper. Damage was noted and party will contact their insurance company.

Caller on Nahant Avenue states that a rabid skunk is walking up and down the street. Nothing showing at this time.

Caller on Nahant Avenue states that the skunk is back in the neighborhood. Skunk found but seems fine at this time.

Passerby reports a male party possibly doing 94C activity in the Massa Playground.
Units clear, 14 year old playing basketball. No signs of 94C activity.

Caller from Walden Street states a female is at her house claiming to be with the electric company but does not have an ID. Units state that the parties were advised on the permitting process and let go. They work for Liberty Power out of Malden.

Mother on Siren Street called concerned about the well being of her son who she states ran down the street in a very disturbed state. She states that he is high. Medical requested and is enroute. One voluntarily to MGH.

Party on Shirley Street came in to state that his father has his laptop, and will not return it. He will fill out a victim/witness form and will come back with it and proof of ownership at a later time if he does not recover it.

Party at Governors’s Park stated that her downstairs neighbor keeps hitting her ceiling and will not stop. Spoke to both parties and explained to both of them that this is a civil matter. This is an ongoing issue. They also need to reach out to the manager.

Female party on Pleasant Street stated she is a Lyft driver and a passenger started exposing himself in her car. He also grabbed her arm and asked her all kinds of person questions. She pulled over and he would not get out so she took her key out of the ignition and got out of the vehicle. 32-year-old male going to the Whidden for an evaluation. He was also arrested for open and gross lewdness, wanton and lascivious lewd conduct and assault and battery.

 

Saturday, March 31

Report of a dog barking every hour on Summit Avenue. This is an ongoing issue with this dog. Caller also spoke to ACO. Spoke with the dog owner and he is bringing in the dog now.

Loud party going on and music and people yelling on Trident Avenue. Spoke with the person who resides there and they will be closing the windows and turning the music down and keep it quiet the rest of the night. If police have to return there, everyone will have to leave.

Report of a motor vehicle accident on Pauline Street. A car ran into a pole.  The pole has been removed from the ground. National Grid has a crew coming to change out the pole and working on getting a circuit breaker up to power temp.

Employee on Revere Street states there is a customer that is causing a scene over a refund she is demanding. Caller stated that she was there  yesterday and last night as well. Both parties worked it out before the officer arrived.

Suspicious activity at Lowell Road and Circuit Road. Unable to locate the vehicle at this time. Will check back later.

Two car motor vehicle accident at Bayview and Brewster Avenue.No injuries. Caller stated that she has three children. She declined medical when asked. She stated that she was hit from behind. Papers were exchanged.

Caller on Bowdoin Street stated there is a needle in the curb. Item has been located and properly disposed of.

 

Sunday, April 1

Caller on Siren Street states that a Jeep is parked in the middle  of the street. Vehicle was moved by the owner.

Party reports pod is placed very close to the curb at River Road and Bowdoin Street. It is not presently a hazard. AC1 notified the DPW Director and no permit for this pod to be on the roadway has been issued. Officer will attempt to locate the owner of the container. Officer unable to locate the owner of the pod. Will place cones around it to make it safer. AC1 will follow up on Monday morning.

Unwanted party on Siren Street. Officers standing by while the party retrieves some items. Male is unhappily removed and is standing 100 yards away per the order. Units standing by to ensure he does mot return to the home. Party left the area.

SUV on corner of Prospect and Harborview Avenues. It is parked illegally facing the wrong way on one-way street. Officer has been sounding his sirens and the owner has not come out to move the vehicle. It is blocking the intersection and no other vehicles can make the turn. G&J notified. The owner finally came out and a parking ticket was issued.

Assisted WFD on Centre Street with traffic during a porch fire. Fire is all set and units clear.
