Mark ‘Fritz’ Paulson

Of Winthrop

Mark “Fritz” Paulson of Winthrop passed away on August 26. He was 56 years old

A project manager for Thermal Insulation Co., he was born in Winthrop, the cherished son of Julia (Crescenzo) Paulson and the late Paul E. Paulson; the beloved husband of Deborah A. (Barker) Paulson; devoted father of Mark F. Paulson and his wife, Kim of Winthrop, Jessica L. Paulson of Belmont, and twins Michael B. and Mitchell P. Paulson of Winthrop; adored grandfather of Mark Fritz Paulson Jr. and Francis Edward Paulson; dear brother of Paul Paulson of Beverly and Neil Paulson of Winthrop; brother-in-law of Jan and Bobby MacKay, James and Cheryl Barker and Julie and John Gillis, all of Winthrop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, Winthrop.  Interment was in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section).  Marie A. Ferrino

Of Winthrop

Marie A. “Jeanette” Ferrino of Pleasant St., Winthrop passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers on August 27, 2016. She was 90 years old. Born in Chelsea, she was the beloved daughter of the late Philomena (Panarese) and Minotto LeBruto. A graduate of Chelsea High School she worked as an executive secretary for a greeting card company for several years. She was a life member of the Freedoms Foundation, life member of the Dante Alegieri Society, member of St. Catherine’s Lodge of Independent Order of Son’s of Italy, Alumni member of Chelsea High School, student of East Boston Social Centers and a student at the Museum of Fine Arts. She also loved dancing, travel, art and sewing.

She was the devoted wife of the Honorable Joseph V. Ferrino, Sr. and the loving mother of Joseph V. Ferrino, Jr. of Winthrop, Joanne Zahrobsky and her husband COL Joseph USAF ret. of Tampa, Florida, Paula Fosa of Winthrop and Richard Ferrino and his wife Rhonda of Winthrop. Dear sister of Celeste Chabonnier of San Antonio, Texas. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Vincent, Joseph, Nicholas, Joseph, Nicole, Dillon, Richard, Jr. and Michael. Great grandmother of Madison Hope and Austin J..

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass in Winthrop Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bay State Chapter of Freedoms Foundation P.O. Box 287 East Boston MA 02128 or to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
