The Chamber of Commerce $10,000 Dinner is always a great event and Executive Director Betsy Shane, Membership Coordinator Wendy Millar-Page, and their committee have been working hard to make this year’s dinner an outstanding one. There is the excitement for guests for the opportunity to walk away with the grand prize of $10,000, but also the chance to enjoy a fun evening with fellow Chamber members and guests.
Betsy Shane had big shoes to fill following Eric Gaynor’s successful reign as executive director and Betsy has continued the excellence of this business organization and made the Chamber a strong voice in this town.
We congratulate Betsy and the Winthrop Chamber and we look forward to our fellow Chamber members (including the Sun-Transcript’s publisher, Stephen Quigley, who serves on the executive board) being in attendance at Saturday night’s dinner.
