Suzanne Dumais

Of Maine, formerly of Winthrop

Suzanne Dumais, 64, of Saco, Maine and formerly of Winthrop passed away on  March 23 in Boston.

She was born in Augusta, Maine on October 13, 1951, a daughter of Frank Sr. and Lorraine (Ouellette) Dumais.

She graduated from Winthrop High School in Winthrop and was a home maker who enjoyed raising her family. Her girls were very important to her. She was an avid reader. Her hobbies included crocheting, ceramics and gardening.

Suzanne is survived by her parents, Frank and Lorraine Dumais and  her two daughters, Amanda (Muldoon) Smith and her husband, Stephen of Portland, Janelle (Muldoon) LeMay and her husband, Bill of Flagler Beach, Florida. She is also survived by one brother Frank Dumais Jr. and his wife, Karen of Saco, nieces, nephews and was also cherished by her aunts and uncles in Augusta. She is also survived by her long-time companion, Jack Powell of Winthrop.

Anita McNeil

Of Boynton Beach

Anita J. DiVita McNeil of Boynton Beach, daughter of the late Mary and Vincent DiVita, was born September 9, 1925 and passed away on March 19, 2016. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas McNeil, her beloved sister, Mary DiVita, and her beloved brother, Joseph V. DiVita.  She is survived by one niece, Donna  McDaniels and by many cousins.

A private family viewing  and interment will be held at a later date in the family plot in Winthrop Cemetery, Cross Street section, in Winthrop.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made  to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis,TN 38105-3678.

William Morelli, Sr.

40-Year Winthrop resident

William F. Morelli, Sr. of Waldemar Ave., Winthrop passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on March 26. He was 68 years old.

Born in Boston, the beloved son of the late Helen (Fay) and Michael Morelli, Sr., he was a graduate of Charlestown High School and has resided in Winthrop for over 40 years. He was employed as a machinist at Hardware Products in Chelsea for many years.

He was the devoted husband of Joyce (Gallagher) and the loving father of Cheryl Plunkett and her husband, Eric of Lynnfield and the late William F. Morelli, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Revere; the dear brother of Michael Morelli, Jr. and his wife, Lois of Winthrop and the late Dennis Morelli and his wife, Donna of Middleton and the cherished grandfather of Ashley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Caggiano-O’Maley Funeral Home, Winthrop. His Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop on Wednesday. The Rev. Peter Graziano celebrated the mass and offered prayers at the interment in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery.
