State Senate candidate Joe Boncore drew a capacity crowd to the Beachmont VFW Hall last Friday. What was impressive was that not only were there many supporters from Winthrop in attendance, but also scores from across the district.
Joe was introduced to the crowd by his brother, Robert, and you could feel the sense of pride that Councillor-at-Large Philip Boncore had as his son delivered his speech to the large crowd. This is an exciting State Senate race, with seven candidates seeking to succeed Anthony Petruccelli in office. There are six weeks left until the Senate primary. After Tuesday’s Presidential Primary, we think voters will see a lot of attention placed on this important Senate election.
