Monday, January 11

Report of a small white car with a female operator screaming and beeping the horn at the crossing guard for the Cummings School. The car also tried to pass the other motor vehicles that were stopped to let the children cross. A second party came in to report this incident as well. The car came back listed to a local resident who was contacted and spoken to. An officer will issue a citation for a marked lane violation and improper passing.

Request for an ambulance on Almont Street was transferred to EMS.

Caller on Revere Street reports that his motor vehicle was entered overnight and his wallet is missing. W92 responded to investigate.

Party called to report that while he was stopped at the light at the intersection of Revere and Crest Avenue, he thought he saw what looked like a wallet in the traffic island there. W94 was on the way for fuel and checked the island area and located the wallet. Property may belong to the victim in the previous motor vehicle break-in. W94 recovered the male’s wallet which belonged to the previous caller whose car was entered overnight. Owner was notified and the wallet was returned to him.

Caller on Pleasant Street reports a seagull with an injured wing there. The caller has parked near it with his flashers on to protect it so no vehicle runs it over. ACO notified and will respond within 20 minutes as he is presently on another matter.

Party on Plummer Avenue report a black motor vehicle in front of her house. She received a call at work from her daughter who was concerned. W91 responded to the area and spoke with a male operator who was picking up someone in the neighborhood.

Vehicle towed from Governor’s Park for motor vehicle violations.

Another vehicle towed from Governor’s Park for trespassing.

Resident on Shirley Street reports a male ringing her doorbell and now walking around her property taking pictures. W93 responded and reports he is from the resident’s insurer here to investigate the property and take pictures for the policy file. The resident was informed and reports that is the insurance company they have. All is ok.

W99 reports being off on Pauline Street for a followup investigation.

Caller on Somerset Avenue report coming home and smelling gas. Believes the stove pilot was out. WFD notified and will respond.

Party on Waldemar Avenue reports that the same people who scammed his father out of money last month via the phone, called back and tried to attempt it again. He wanted this logged.

Caller on Cliff and Grovers Avenue reports motor vehicles parked on the wrong side of the street in the no parking zone making it difficult to enter and exit driveways. Officer was able to get some vehicles moved and ticketed the rest.

Tuesday, January 12

Party on Ocean View Street report that his wife fell and cut her leg.

Caller on Beal Street reports there is a large ice patch forming in the street making it hazardous. Message left for DPW.

Party on Shore Drive report falling in the bathroom and injuring her knee.

Todisco Towing removed a vehicle from Governor’s Park for trespassing.

Attorney came to the station to inquire about his client’s involvement in a matter yesterday in a school zone. The attorney was given the client’s citation which was waiting for her at the window.

Caller on South Main Street report no water and no one answered at the DPW. The DPW was notified at the same time another call was received from the same area with the same complaint. DPW reports they are working on the problem.

Medical aid requested from Lincoln Street.

An other vehicle towed for trespassing at Governor’s Park by Todisco Towing.

Caller at Wave Way Avenue requesting an ambulance/fire for girlfriend who has fallen. WFD notified and is responding.

Life Line reporting that they have received a fall alert on Golden Drive. Call transferred to EMS/WFD.

W92 requesting status on vehicle at Somerset and Cottage Park Road. G&J notified and the vehicle was towed.

Caller on Grandview Avenue reports needing an ambulance for her grandfather who is having complications from surgery.

Reports of towing another vehicle from Governor’s Park for trespassing.

Caller at Fort Heath Apartments requesting an ambulance for breathing difficulty. Call transferred to EMS/WFD.

W98 assisted another agency in checking on a party on Main Street.

Party on Golden Drive requests we check on her neighbor who is yelling about a “knife” and “the souls of many”. Officers and EMS responding. He was evaluated by EMS and officers on the scene and was cleared medically.

Caller on Lincoln Street requests an ambulance for a sick resident.

Officer reports suspicious motor vehicle driving up and down the side streets off of Shirley Street. Officer is attempting to locate to obtain an ID. 937 reports RPD has the vehicle stopped on North Shore Road in Revere. He and RPD Delta 8 are responding to that location. Officer reports clearing the scene. RPD will handle.

937/RPD Delta 8 report two suspicious male parties at the intersection of Shirley Street and Veterans Road. The parties were ID’d and sent on their way.

Wednesday, January 13

Caller on South Main Street reports suspicious motor vehicle with its engine running at the corner. Units report the vehicle properly assigned to a party at that location.

Caller on Cottage Park Road reports that he fell and needs an assist.

Party came to the station to report a joint account that she is listed on with her deceased aunt has money missing from it. The account with Citizen’s Bank reports withdrawals were made on Sept. 16 and 17, 2015 at the Abington Branch of the bank. Party reports that her aunt passed away on Sept. 5. Two $500 withdrawals were made. As a result of these withdrawals being made after her aunt’s passing, there was not enough funds for the Social Security Administration to go back into the account to retrieve the funds that were issued at the beginning of September prior to the passing of the aunt. The account is now overdrawn and funds are owed to the bank and the Social Security.

Caller at East Boston Neighborhood Health requesting an ambulance for a patient who has fallen and struck her head/shoulder. Transferred to EMS/WFD.

Officer reports an intoxicated male at Revere and Locust Street needs medical assistance.

Caller on Pearl Avenue reports receiving a weird call from a party claiming to have his sister and her husband. Calling party was requesting money/ The caller was advised to contact family members and in the meantime to not respond to requests of the caller demanding money.

Motor vehicle stopped for speeding at Scott’s Auto Garage. Operator has permit and there as no one else in the vehicle. The car was towed and criminal complaint filed against the operator.

Visiting nurse called to request an ambulance for patient at Seal Harbor. Call transferred to EMS.

Officer talking to resident about an incident happening at the Gorman School during school release. Officer talked to female party and advised her that further incident will result in school action regarding pickup.

Reports of a large tree that has fallen on a vehicle at Grovers Avenue municipal parking lot. W92 dispatched and reports the tree is on private property. The owner is on the scene and the officer will do an incident report. Damage was done to town fence also.

Medical aid needed on Lincoln Street. Transferred to EMS.

Bolster’s Auto called to report that a motor vehicle that was towed to their lot two months ago has not been picked up. Bolster’s learned from the State Police that the vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was recovered and towed to G&J. Revere PD was notified.

Caller on Jefferson Street reports the front window of her business is cracked and she is afraid it will give way. She is concerned for public safety and security reasons. She states that the landlord refuses to fix it. She was informed this is a civili issue. She wanted this logged for future action in civil court.

Party on Bayou Street states that someone continually parks on the street obstructing others including emergency vehicles. W91 reports the vehicle is indeed obstructing. Several attempts were made to locate the owner which were unsuccessful. The vehicle was tagged and towed by G&J.

Reports of a refrigerator falling off a truck at Revere and Governors Drive and supposedly in the middle of the street. Officer reports no refrigerator.

Video Alarm company report that someone is the high school building Officers on the scene. Call from Gilbane Engineering reporting there is a party on the scene and he is supposed to be there.

A 96 year old woman on Shirley Street needs to go to the hospital. EMS notified.

Thursday, January 14

Call of a minor hit and run at Nick’s Place on Pauline Street. Officer reports there was no damage.

Female caller on Kennedy Road report she needs an ambulance.

Party at Governor’s Park called to report that his kids were playing and one of them got their head stuck in a basket or something similar. Fire will handle.

Vehicle towed for 72-hour violation on Grovers Avenue. Vehicle towed by G&J.

Beth Israel reports a psych patient is being released and talks about his gun. After checking listings, residences and logs, the patient does not live here. Address given was a commercial building on Putnam Street.

Party walked in to repot a possible downed power line on Jefferson Street. Line was hot, but vehicles could pass safely.

Friday, January 15

Unit reports motor vehicle stop on Harvard Street and one in custody for driving under the influence, failing to stop/yield, and equipment violation (no headlights).

E911 transfer from the State to report an 87 year old male on Sewall Avenue can’t feel his legs. EMS notified.

Two 911 calls from Shirley Street to report that male just threw up and now is non-responsive. EMS notified.

Father called to report that his daughter is afraid to leave the house on Court Road as there are boys smoking reefer and drinking. He also stated that this happens a lot. Officers report checking the area to no avail. Det. Jaworski was also on the scene.

Party on Beal Street called to report she is afraid of the digging going on outside her house.

Report of a large pothole in the middle of Sturgis Street. DPW notified.

Party from Sea Foam Avenue came to the station to report that someone is attempting to hack into his American Express credit card. He has informed the American Express people of this and they had him cancel his card and obtain a new one. His new card also has been tampered with. He needs to report this for the American Express Security.

Party on Sagamore Avenue reports that his wife needs an ambulance. EMS will handle.

Fire Department called to report a civilian vehicle struck Engine 2 at Magee’s Corner. Officer reports minor damage, but will file an accident report due to the involvement with the Winthrop Fire engine.

Report of skunks in the area of Beach Road. ACO notified and will investigate.

Party on Beacon Street reports a scam which tried to scare her daughter on her phone. This was logged and she was advised of the way to deal with these types of calls.

Party on Amelia Avenue called to report that a male walked up to her back door and appeared to be checking other houses on the street. 91 Gregorian, 92 Feeley and 94 R. Carter report they have him under arrest for a drug violation.

Party reports a female, drunk, just left the CVS parking lot. All units BOLO.

Many calls of a dog hit by a car on Crest Avenue. 91 Ramadani reports it is a husky type. ACO contacted and responded from out of town. The dog owner arrived and as a courtesy, MBTA Off. Biggie will take the dog to Angel Memorial Animal Hospital.

Report of a male drunk and who fell twice on Crest Avenue. 92 Jaworski and WFD report one male to the hospital.

Caller reports an intoxicated male in Energy To Go.

Saturday, January 16

Unit reports a subject has foreign license and will be cited for top signing cited for unlicensed operation. Valid operator took possession of the motor vehicle.

Party from Governor’s Park came in to report that someone has been stealing her mail. She notified the postal police who also advised her to make out a police report. She filled out a victim/witness statement.

Party at Governor’s Park reports that a female keeps coming out and bothering him. He is just sitting in his car. 91 Gregorian reports settling the matter for now.

Party on Shore Drive requests we check on female daughter of their patient. 92 Ferullo reports all is fine and she is fine.

92 Ferullo stopped vehicle at Winthrop Federal Credit Union for misuse of handicapped placard. A $500 citation was issued.

Party came to the station to retrieve a handicap placard that was confiscated for improper use. Owner of the placard was with her and it was returned to the proper owner.

Unit reports passing two motor vehicles who are lost in this town and need to get to the Arbors of Winthrop.

Cataldo Ambulance states that the BEST team is off for an evaluation on Buchanan Street. Cataldo will notify Action directly.

Party reports a large dock or pier in the channel off of Grandview Avenue drifting out to the harbor. WFD notified to contact the Harbormaster. 91 Gregorian located the objet for them.

Party on George Street wants an escort to retrieve keys from father of her baby. 92 Ferullo will attempt to make contact. Party was not there now.

Caller report a long-haired male with a tripod and camera taking photos at park on Bayview Avenue. 91 Ramadan spoke with the subject who is a resident of the town and he is taking shots of the city and water tower.

Reports of a white Mercedes doing “70” going toward the center. All units BOLO.

Party on Bellevue Avenue request medical help for her son who is having a seizure. Mother report it is the second one. Fire notified and transferred to EMS. W91 responded but no information available.

Sunday, January 17

Caller on Revere Street reports an erratic driver heading into Revere. State Police notified.

Report of loud music on Trident Avenue. 91 Ramadani, 92 Connolly, and 94 Pena report they spoke to the renters and they will shut off the music for the night.

Officer has vehicle stopped for traffic violation at Main and Sunset Road. Subject was cited for speeding.

Several 911 calls about fire alarms going off side building at Governor’s Park. Caller reports smoke in the hallways. WFD notified units report the smoke has cleared and WFD investigated all the floors. They believe it was burnt food. Alarms have been reset and Fire Department cleared the building.

Detail requested by DPW for one officer tonight at midnight for plowing and salting. Parking ban also going into effect tonight at 11 p.m.

Party from Somerset Avenue arrived at the station to report that her Sears credit card had been used for $45 purchase in South Dakota. She was advised to call her company and cancel her credit card. It was explained to her that it would be her credit card company’s responsibility for following up.

Party came in to turn in his firearms as required. AR-15 lower receiver, Remington rifle turned in.

Life Line reports an activation for a fall on Golden Drive. Fire and ambulance notified. 85- year-old female is fine, accidental activation.

Party walked in to the station to report that her GPS was taken from her car. The party stated that she parked her car three days ago and did not lock her door. She stated the inside of her vehicle was ransacked.

Caller from Energy To Go reports shoplifter took items and ran out of the store.

Report of males looking into cars at Fort Heath Apartments.

Caller reports vehicles in the Landing doing doughnuts. The vehicles left prior the arrival of officers.
