Saturday, December 5

Multi calls of a man on a bike that was struck by a vehicle at Revere and Harvard Street. Medical notified. Officers report male subject going to the MGH. The officers are also checking the video from the 7-11.

Officer reports he has a motor vehicle stopped and it comes back as expired. G&J will tow.

Caller from Floyd Street who is rushing out reports there is an odor of gas in the area. Fire will handle.

Party on Shirley Street request an ambulance for her husband who is having chest pains. Fire and ambulance notified.

Motor vehicle stop on Main Street for speeding, with the operator having a revoked license. G&J notified.

Sunday, December 6

Caller on Circuit Road reports that his wife is having an allergic reaction. Fire and ambulance notified.

Officer has vehicle on Crest Avenue stopped for investigation. Officer spoke to the subjects and advised them to go inside the residence.

Party on Central Street reports a loud party at the three family home next to his. W93 Guerra and 92 Connolly report speaking to a resident and they will be shutting it down for the night.

Caller on Revere Street called to say that her 89-year-old mother might be experiencing complications from her medications. Fire contacted and they will respond.

Party on Cottage Park Road repots that his neighbor fell and needs assistance. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Party came to the station to inquire if anyone turned in an Iphone. Reports losing it yesterday in the Elks parking lot. W91 responded to several locations in the Point where the phone location pinged.

Ambulance requested for party on Sagamore Avenue.

Party heard on the fire channel that they are responding to a report of a house fire on Pearl Avenue.

Party from previous incident came to the station to retrieve his bicycle from the accident. The party signed a receipt and was given his bike.

Report of a motor vehicle obstructing the crosswalk near Blackstrap BBW. The vehicle was ticketed. The officer will attempt to locate the person in control of it to have it moved. When the officer checked back the vehicle was still obstructing the crosswalk. A tow truck was sent to the location to remove the vehicle.

Report of a male down on Payson and Franklin Street. Medical notified. The party was sent to the Whidden.

Caller on Main and Cross Street reports some youths are about to fight. The officers report speaking to all youths and the parents of them are responding to the scene.

Party called from Edwards Street reporting smoke in the area of Douglas and Main Street.

Everett PD faxed over a harassment order to be served on party on Woodside Avenue. The subject was not home but his roommate will notify him to contact police upon his arrival.

Caller from out of state reports losing his dog. Units notified and report the dog was last seen on Ingleside Avenue. The owner called to report locating his dog and than ked us for our response.

Monday, December 7

Report that there is no water on Faun Bar Avenue. DPW notified.

Two females called to report that Beacon Street is flooded. Must have something to do with the Hill having no water. DPW will handle.

Safety Officer DeFrietas reports that the Gilbane crew just hit a water pipe. DPW notified.

Officer will try to serve a harassment order issued by the Malden Court on subject on Woodside Avenue. He reports the subject is not home. A family member will inform him to call or comet o the station.

Party on Bayview Avenue came to the station and reported he was scammed out of $225.

Caller on Morton Street reports that the roommate is intoxicated and needs to go to the hospital. 92, 91 and WFD responding. Officer took the purse of the transported person. Purse contained $330 in bills and a few dollars in change. Purse is on the position #1 table.

Party at Sturgis and Shore drive reports needles in the street. Officer reports he has them and will secure same.

Party on Shirley Street called to report that she heard a noise and when she checked it out, she noticed the front porch light was cracked. Officer reports it appears to be short on the bulb.

Detective are watching house on Trident Avenue for a subject wanted by the Secret Service. They report the wanted person came out and was placed under arrest.

Report of having no water on South Main Street. DPW notified.

Mother on Irwin Street called to report that her son dropped money and a man took the money. He ran into a home. Units report the man thought the $20 bill belonged to him. The money was returned and all parties satisfied.

Party on Tewksbury Street reports that his Christmas lights may have been cut over the last two days inside his property bounds.

Caller at Executive Apartments reports that he fell inside his apartment. Fire and ambulance notified and will respond.

Tenant and landlord exchange of a key to an apartment on Main Street. Unit will standby as a courtesy to keep the peace. Parties advised the matter is civil in nature. The keys were exchanged without incident.

Reports of power outages on Sunset Road. 92 and WFD will check it out. Looks like they now have power. Second check revealed one building in housing is out. National Grid will respond.

Tuesday, December 8

Caller on Sunset Road reports electricity out in building. Maintenance notified and report electric company on the way down to fix the problem.

Party on Johnson Avenue reports a male and female appear to be drunk. Unit reports a local couple walking their cats. Previous reports about these two walking about neighbors’ yards.

Caller reports a male party making loud noises the past few nights behind Governors Park. Units report speaking with party advising him of the town noise ordinance. The party will be heading home for the night.

Report there is a large open hole in front of the golf course. Officer reports DPW is working and they state it is not a “critical work area” and they are okay.

Todisco Towing came in to the station to report that they would be retrieving a motor vehicle at Governors Park for repossession. Vehicle towed to East Boston.

A woman came to the station to drop off a handgun and ammunition that belonged to her deceased husband.

Todisco Towing came in to report they towed from Governors Park for having an expired inspection sticker. Todisco driver was told the vehicle couldn’t be driven until it is registered.

Todisco Towing will be taking a Jeep Liberty out of Governors Park. The vehicle will be towed to East Boston.

Code Enforcement Officer reports that large pallets are blocking the sidewalk in front of a house on Cottage Park Road. The residents are refusing to remove the pallets at this time. 91 and the Building Inspector have arrived on the scene and have explained the minimum penalty for not removing the pallets ($300 fine). The pallets are now being moved onto their property.

Detectives and an outside agency are off on an investigation at the Winthrop Yacht Club.

Party on Overlook Drive called to report that he had fallen out of his chair and could not get up from the floor. WFD responding to assist. Winthrop Housing also responding to assist. Fire was able to gain entry into the apartment.

Call from a neighbor on Cottage Park Road to report that her friend has fallen. Fire will assist.

Report of a man down at School Age Express. Maybe a cardiac. Transferred to WFD and they will handle.

Caller on Pleasant Street requests an ambulance after cutting her foot.

Party on Tewksbury Street reports that his lights are cut again. 91 Ramadani will file a report on his findings.

Part on Hutchinson Street reports a past breaking and entry with a key used for entry.

Wednesday, December 9

Motorist stopped for speeding on Pleasant Street. Citation issued to the operator.

Party at Governors Park called to request EMS for am ale having back pain.

W92 reports a motor vehicle parked at the municipal lot with its windshield smashed. Officer tried to locate the owner from the listed address and was unable to.

Reports of an accident on Revere Street. Another caller reports the accident involved a bicyclist. WFD notified.

935 reports that pole #600 no Pleasant Street has lost its support and may be a hazard. Fire notified.

Caller on Buchanan Street requesting an ambulance for his elderly mother.

Medical aid for elderly male on Lincoln Street having trouble breathing.

Party is with a gentleman who fell in front of the CVS. He has a head injury. W92 repots the man fell over a blind person’s cane. Both parties checked out by WFD/Action and both refused treatment.

Party came to the station regarding the crosswalk at Pleasant and Washington Avenue at Winthrop Street. The party reports that she has a white cane and she travels that way daily and cars do not stop for her when she is in the crosswalk. She would like to see some publicity regarding the crosswalks such as in the newspaper, etc. It was mentioned that the road is a state road so we might be under another authority regarding what can be placed there. She was also informed that when we could we would try to have an officer check the area while on duty during the day.

Party on Golden Drive needs an ambulance for CHF. He will wait outside.

Caller on Wilshire Street came into the station to report that her neighbor is harassing her. She just wanted it documented for further actions.

Thursday, December 10

Party on Morton Street is requesting an ambulance for a sick family member. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Caller on Brookfield Road requested EMS for pain. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Another call from Brookfield Road requesting EMS respond for a health problem. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Caller reports that two males possibly smoking marijuana in the cemetery near Buchanan and Bowdoin Street.

Resident on Bowdoin Street called about a suspicious substance she found in her apartment that was not there prior to her retiring to bed. W92 responded and reports not being able to locate the source. C-pak contacted and spoke to the officer at the scene. Detectives also notified.

Party called to inform us that he got into a verbal argument with a person known to him at the Winthrop Public Landing this morning. Calling party wanted this on record for any future incidents.

Female walked into the station to report that someone is harassing her at her house. She wants this documented for further action.

Friday, December 11

Party at Ft. Heath Apartments is requesting EMS for a medical issue. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Caller on Sagamore Avenue reports a medical problem and is requesting EMS. Call transferred to EMD and WFD for service.

Mother on Shore Drive reports her son is having a seizure. Transferred to EMS.

Party came to the station to turn in a weapon that was in her home.

DPW worker came to the station to report they were cutting a branch down on Grovers Avenue and it hit a car’s windshield. DPW left a note for the owner.

During the school crossing at Almont and Revere Street, a black SUV (male operator) proceeded to take a right hand turn from Almont Street onto Revere Street against the posted signage. This vehicle was given a verbal warning on December 9th and two days later, he decided to take the turn again. The owner of the vehicle was issued a $100 fine.

Reports of wires down on summit Avenue. Transferred to WFD.

Party walked into the station to report that a house that is unoccupied on Cross Street, which is being renovated, was broken into and multiple items stolen. Incident reports will be generated when he brings in a list of stolen items tomorrow.

Report of a woman falling inside the Winthrop Senior Center. Referred to EMS.

Reports of a manhole cover open left unattended at Magee’s Corner. Officer reports it is a dig save and he closed the manhole and will call his company for a safety officer.

Caller at Quick Foodmart reports a person parked in front of a fire hydrant. Motor vehicle issued parking ticket and the vehicle was moved.

Gun permit suspension to be served on subject in Governors Park. 93 report no answer right now. W93 with 987 attempted service again and there was still no answer. They were unable to serve.

Motor vehicle was found in the handicap parking spot without a placard at Cumberland Farms. The vehicle was issued a $300 parking ticket for said violation.

93 reports a possible HP placard that is made up. It was seized and officer will file an FI. This happened at Winthrop Marketplace.

Officer repots being flagged down for possible 94C acdtivity by two youth sin the gazebo. Officer found youths and retrieved a small amount of illegal substance.

Caller reports a man was screaming profanities at the girl working the Honey Dew counter and creating a disturbance. He has since left, but states this is not the first occupancy from this person. Officer spoke with the victim and is now responding to Veterans Road to speak with the subject. The officer spoke with the subject and he will be staying away from the business.

Saturday, December 12

Medical alert for an elderly male at Seal Harbor. EMS notified.

Report of men with guns shooting off the jetty on the island. Reports they are shooting at birds, she thinks, and then picking up the bodies. Several calls received. The State Police was contacted. Trooper called back to report that the group there are hunters within the law and the season. All is okay.

Handicapped placard ticket issued at Crest Avenue parking lot.

Reports of finding an Irish setter on Washington Avenue. ACO reports he picked up the dog and it is a golden lab, not an Irish setter. If anyone should call, ACO has the dog.

Party came in to report that she lost her pocketbook in Boston last night and her Iphone was in her purse. The caller activated “find my phone” and it pings to a location in Winthrop. She will come in alter with the information and we will try to help. The party who had the missing Iphone was contacted and he stated he was an Uber driver and found the Iphone on Broad Street in Boston. W93 responded and picked up the phone and returned it to the owner.

Officer reports a woman fell on Pauline Street and needs EMS.

Party came into the station to report a man lying in the cemetery near the high school. Also, a woman from Bowdoin Street called in to report this as well. She said the party scared a woman walking to a site. Party was transported to the hospital.

Caller on Floyd Street states that his baby’s mother is harassing him on facebook and he wants this on record for any future acts.

Motor vehicle was in the handicap parking spot without a handicap placard at Winthrop Marketplace. A $300 parking ticket was issued for the violation.

Caller on Perkins Street requests an ambulance to transport his wife to MGH.

Off-duty officer requests backup for an FI on four youths at Shore Drive and Beach Road.

Caller on Ocean Avenue reports a group in the street looks like they are getting ready to fight. Units respond and report a large group on the scene. 926 responds to scene to assist. Units report one male in protective custody.

Sunday. December 13

Caller on Trident Avenue states that her neighbor is causing a disturbance on the property. Unit states all is quiet.

Party on Upland Road states that he is concerned about his sister whom he was on the telephone with, but the line got disconnected and no answer on his callback. Units spoke to the subject and her roommate will contact the brother.

Caller at Shore Drive and Sturgis Street stats a subject appears to be ill and may need medical. Units respond and request medical for an evaluation. Section 12, transported to the Whidden.

Male party called regarding a couple that was arguing in front of Expert Auto. Says that the female appeared to be crying. 91 and 93 report a small group gathered. WMS query on all parties and the female is in custody for an outstanding warrant.

Lifeline operator called on 911 stating they had activation from apartment on Golden Dive. WFD notified. The party was fine and lifeline was reset.

Clerk at Cumberland Farms reports a customer requesting medical aid.

Brother on Orlando Avenue requesting medical aid for his sister who is depressed. Voluntary to St. Elizabeth’s.

Caller request medical for his brother on River Road. Transferred to EMD.

Caller would like us to check on her father on Overlook Drive as she has not been able to get a hold of him on the phone for a couple of days. Officer reports no answer at the door. Fire notified and will respond. The subject is not home. Log showed he went to Whidden. Whidden reports that he was discharged.
