WCWC and Friends Hold Scholarship Lottery

The Winthrop Catholic Woman’s Club (WCWC) and Friends of the WCWC recently held its Third Annual Scholarship Lottery.  Any member in good standing can nominate a graduating high school student,  who has been accepted into a school of higher learning, for the Lottery.

This year, the Education Chairperson, Barbara A. Survilas received 36 applicants.

The WCWC and Friends of the WCWC would like to congratulate our eight winners of the 2014 Education Scholarship Lottery.  Each recipient received a $500.00 scholarship. The winners are;
