The recently-announced mitigation package between the town and Mohegan Sun, which just came out as were going to press, appears to be highly-favorable to Winthrop. We will have more to say about it in the weeks ahead, but at this time we wish to congratulate all of those who worked on the agreement on behalf of the town for bringing about a great package that will benefit Winthrop residents for years to come.
