Monday, May 5

Caller on Summit Avenue reports hearing someone walking around upstairs. Officers checked the third floor and nothing there.

Motor vehicle stopped for violation at Main and Pleasant Street. Traffic citation issued to the operator.

W92 stopped motor vehicle for a red light violation at Main and Pleasant Street. Written warning issued.

Party on Tafts Avenue reports a landscaper is parking on her private property and she asked them to move, but they ignored her. Officer reports speaking with the landscaper who moved his vehicle and equipment.

E911 call from Winthrop Senior Center.

Caller on Hale Avenue reports that his neighbor is dragging all the trash barrels from the adjacent homes in front of the caller’s address. Officer reports speaking to both parties who will stay away from each other. Caller stated that his neighbor came over and apologized after he realized that the trash was being moved.

Party came into the station requesting that we file a report of some harassment she has been taking from an ex-boyfriend. Victim only wants it placed on file at present time.

Caller on Shore Drive is being harassed by her downstairs neighbor. Both parties allege harassment and they were advised of their rights. They are satisfied for now.

Party on Washington Avenue requests WFD as she has locked herself in her apartment while attempting to change her lock. She cannot exit.

Caller on Shirley Street reports that youths are smoking marijuana in front of her home. Subjects left prior to officer’s arrival.

Party on Governors Drive requests ambulance. Will meet outside of apartment.

Male caller on Walden Street reports a small red motor vehicle with a loud muffler is doing donuts and going back and forth at a high rate of speed. W92 responded and reports GOA.

Caller on Pebble Avenue reports a dark colored motor vehicle parked there with its lights on for a while. A male got out and was walking around and stumbling, then got back in the truck. One under arrest for driving under the influence and possession of open container of alcohol in vehicle.

Loud music coming from apartment at Governors Park. Unit 92 reports unable to locate music.

Tuesday, May 6

Caller on Plummer Avenue reports that her husband has something in his throat but is able to talk. Call was transferred to WFD.

Revere PD broadcasted a stolen shuttle bus for the airport stolen within the last hour. It is a Hampton Inn shuttle bus. All units BOLO’d.

Call from Life Alert that resident at Fort Heath Apartments needs medical help. WFD notified.

Party at Governors Drive reports that her 17-year-old daughter refuses to go to school.

Caller on Locust Street requesting EMS for her father. Transferred to Action EMD.

Concerned parent called to inquire about an odor of natural gas at Gorman Ft. Banks School and reports WFD off there. No report received at Dispatch. WFD contacted and confirmed they are off there investigating but report no confirmation of odor at this time.

Party came in to report losing her silver chain with three charms. She asked if we would contact her if anyone turns it in.

92 will attempt to serve a summons for witness to subject on Shirley Street. 92 reports speaking with her mother who reported the party does not reside there any longer and was unable to provide any forwarding address. In-house records show her residing up the street. 92 will attempt to serve there. 92 reports speaking with a tenant who states that she does not reside there any longer. Voicemail also left on her cell phone to contact the police department. Party was served in hand at the station.

Caller on Marshall Street reports that her cousin pulled up in a U-Haul truck wanting property. She states that her cousin has not lived there in two years and has no property. She has since left the area but she is concerned she may return.  She was advised to call back if that happens.

Detail Officer reports a 72-year-old male tripped and fell at Fab’s Liquors. Party tripped stepping up onto the sidewalk and refused any medical treatment.

Party reports subject is at his mother’s residence on Golden Drive and is in violation of an active 209A. 209A does not appear on his BOP. EB Court confirmed the order is valid and faxed a copy over. Mother denies son was at the residence and stated he is down the Cape. The director stated that he was on the property. Units checked the area and are unable to locate him at this time.

E911 state transfer call from Winthrop Street. Screaming in the background, but no one would talk. Units report a neighborhood dispute.

92 will attempt to serve a summons for witness to subject on Shore Drive. 92 report no response at this time. The party came to the lobby and was served in hand.

E911 wireless transfer reporting a medical aid on Sewall venue. WFD notified.

Party on Shirley Street reports two males just approached regarding buying cable. When she asked questions, they fled in a van with “Ford Painting” written on the side. Officers could not locate van or suspects. They did locate a Direct TV van and spoke with the personnel who were going door to door in the area.

209A harassment order served in hand on Banks Street.

Female on Washington Avenue reports the downstairs neighbor just left for work and slammed his door so loud and hard that it shook the house and woke up her sleeping husband. Caller reports that she was instructed to call by the Court when these disturbances occur.

Wednesday, May 7

Husband on Cottage Park Road requests medical aid for his wife. Referred to EMS.

Female called the station to ask if we had a friend of hers at the station. The caller also wanted to find out if there were warrants on her as well as the friend she was calling about. Caller was informed that we don’t give out that kind of information.

Motorist stopped for failing to stop at the stop sign at Bolster’s on Veterans Road. Traffic citation was issued to the operator.

Party came in to report being threatened. Victim/witness form provided.

Party came in to report an incident that occurred last night at Cumberland Farms. Victim/witness form provided.

Caller at Governors Park reports kids shooting guns behind Building 300. Officers spoke with parties who stated there were several middle school youths with a plastic pellet gun who went back in their various homes.

Party reports youths threatening each other and possibly getting ready to fight at Nick’s. Subjects left prior to officer’s arrival.

Caller reports a youth, possibly drunk being carried by the several others at Revere and Governors Drive. Officer spoke with the youths and reports he is not drunk, but is sick and they are taking him home.

Caller requesting ambulance for father with chronic illness.

Thursday, May 8

Female at Crystal Cove Inn called to report that her boyfriend’s legs gave out and is down in front of the Inn. Fire notified.

Subject came to the station to report being harassed on Facebook by another person. Was instructed to seek a harassment order at Court.

Caller reports elderly male has fallen while attempting to get on the shuttle bus at the Senior Center. W92 reports refusing medical. All okay.

Male caller reports there is a lawn mower and cans of gas on the ground at Main and Pleasant. Officer reports they fell off a DPW truck. DPW called and they will handle.

A caller reports two sport style motorcycles (red and gray) speeding up and down Waldemar Avenue. They are also doing wheelies. W92 reports the area is clear at this time, but will keep an eye on the area. Officer spoke to the operators and gave them a warning.

Call from the manager of the CVS to report a shoplifting in progress. Officers report they will summons him in.

Complaint to the Chief about vehicles illegally parked in the Center area. Off. Carter will handle.

Female called of a fight at Winthrop and Buchanan Street. Officers report the area is clear. W92 spoke to a lady nearby and she stated that two people were arguing and then they left.

Male from Governors Park called to report that his sister needs an ambulance. WFD notified.

Call from the Salem Police to ask if we could check to see if a female lives in a sober house in Winthrop. The only sober house known to us is on Shore Drive. Officer reports she was there and has left to a motel in Saugus. Salem notified.

Female on Winthrop Street came to report that her son lost his passport in East Boston sometime in March. They need a police entry to obtain another one.

Calls of a young girl that is caught in a swing at Ingleside Park. Officers, fire and ambulance report they have her out and would like a relative to come and take her home. Officer reports no one home at her house, but a relative showed up and will take the child.

Caller reports party using 94C Class D in the area of Shore Drive and Pearl Avenue. Units check area and nothing showing.

Party on Fremont Street reports that his golf club was just stolen from his front yard when he went inside his house for a minute. Units are checking area.

Report of kids throwing rocks at buses on Hermon and Main. 94 Curran reports no one around.

Friday, May 9

Mass State Police reports that an airplane just had a green laser shined into the cockpit from an area in Winthrop. They will get the flight path. All units notified. It may be over at Coughlin or Yirrell Beach area. All corresponding areas checked.

Daughter on Court Road worried about mom’s health.

Detail Officer Vitale reports a Viking Taxi went through his stop signal, looked at him and kept going. Viking was notified and will send him back to the officer on his way back.

Detectives are searching for a missing youth from Revere. They report checking several areas to no avail.

Male caller on Winthrop Street called to report National Grid trucks blocking the street. Officer reports the trucks are packing it in and leaving.

Manager at CVS reports a juvenile shoplifter. Units report juvenile female given a no trespass and brought home to speak with the parents.

Party on Enfield Road requests an ambulance for her father who is having COPD complications

10 calls from someone (relative) to check on brother on Pleasant Park Road. WFD and 92 Ramadini report that all is okay.

Caller from Governors Park reports a woman in a blue robe walking barefoot pushing a carriage. Unit reports speaking to residents who were at the site and report not seeing anyone fitting that description. Units will be on the lookout.

Female on Tafts Avenue reports that her stove is on fire. Transferred to WFD. 91 Curran, 98 Jaworski and 92 Ramadini report a smoky second floor. WFD put it out.

Manager at La Siesta Restaurant called to report that a customer threatened and slapped an employee. Victim does not want to pursue charges.

Reports of kids drinking in front of house on Ingleside Avenue. 98 Jaworski and Off. Bonavita reports no one home and no one drinking.

Female on Hermon Street reports a male just got beat up. 91 Freeman, Off. Bonavita, Sgt. Crisafi, 93 Hickey and 92 Curran reports they have an active warrant from Chelsea Court. Victim refused to identify or cooperate with assault investigation. WFD called and transported the victim to the hospital. One under arrest for outstanding arrest warrant.

Saturday, May 10

Caller on Sunset Road reports a fight out in the street. Verbal argument between a new boyfriend and an ex-boyfriend. Units report one party requesting cab out of town to Revere.

Party reports a group of about 15 individuals causing a disturbance with people arriving in cars at Johnson and Court Road. Units report a group of high school kids arguing. They were escorted out of the area.

Male ran into the station to report he was jumped by a five heavyset white 20 year old males at the Arthur T. Cummings School. Subjects were unknown to him, but they yelled out his name. He reports his backpack was taken at the scene. Units report no one in the area. Family members were contacted and they will take him home.

Caller at Seal Harbor requests EMS. Fire dispatched.

Medical alert activation for woman needing assistance on Bowdoin Street. Fire/EMS dispatched.

Caller on Bowdoin Street reports that his wife has fallen and needs assistance getting up.

Party on Johnson Avenue called to report that his car was hit overnight.

Female caller on Sea View Avenue reports that young people are riding dirt bikes up and down the street all morning. W93 reports the street is clear and no one is in the area. Officer will check the area during the tour.

Female called to report that her father on Golden Drive needs an ambulance. WFD notified.

Male on Locust Street called to report that he received a prank call saying they were a loan company. He hung up and called Comcast who told him to do *57. He did and the trace was successful. Comcast told him to have the police log it. So done.

Female called to report a dog running around without a leash at Fort Heath Park. ACO left a message. Officer reports the dog is back on his leash and all is okay.

Female called to report that her children were playing near the playground on Kennedy Road and in the small wooded area there are some clothes and other items. Officer will check to see if anything is of a dangerous nature to kids. He reports a bag of clothes, nothing dangerous. DPW notified to clean the area up.

Party on Hermon Street came into the station to report someone’s mother was threatening her. She was given a victim/witness form but was unable to furnish us with much information regarding the woman. The woman was operating a blue SUV and being described as white with short blond hair. The matter stemmed from a past incident. Officers advised to BOLO for the subject motor vehicle and to check on the address. The victim was advised to contact the station if the woman returns to the area.

Several 911 calls from Hawthorn Avenue about a domestic and a party being harassed over Percocets. Units report it is a verbal argument only and the male party is being given a ride to Orient Heights.

Female on Myrtle Avenue reports that her father is verbally abusing her. She wants officers to talk to him about his behavior. Units report parties advised of rights and informed about instructions on how to start eviction process.

Party on Strand Way requests WFD and EMS for her husband who is having difficulty breathing.

Sunday, May 11

Unit reports a group out in the street on Argyle Street, possibly fighting. Units report a group is dispersing and report fight occurred from residence there.

Woman on Bowdoin Street reports smelling something burning. Units report an overheated electrical motor. All clear.

Caller on Myrtle Avenue reports loud music. Unit reports area is clear.

Party on Winthrop Street reports a loud group walking down the street. Units spoke with a small group and they will keep their voices down.

Caller on Cottage Park called to report that his mother is under Hospice care and is having trouble breathing. Unit requesting contact the ME office. ME office contacted.

Male came in to report that his 16 year old daughter is missing. She was home last night around 10:30 p.m. and this morning she was gone. Before officer could check on where she might be, the father called back and said she is home.

Female on Hermon Street called, but could not understand what she was saying or what she wanted. Officer reports medical needed. Fire was notified. She is going to the Whidden.

Officers report work being done at the Deane Winthrop House. There is a small cement mixer on the sidewalk with other tools. Officer reports they are packing up and leaving.

Officer reports a cat was struck and killed by a car on Shirley Street. ACO was notified. Officer will move the cat until ACO arrives.

Male on Tewksbury Street called to report that the house next door is vacant and is being worked on. The side door facing his house looks kicked in. Officers report a noise in the basement. They are going to check inside the house and report the building is clear and they will secure the door as best possible.

Female on Woodside Avenue came to the station to report that her upstairs neighbor put dog poop on the doorknob to her front door. When we asked the boyfriend if he saw who put the dog poop on her doorknob, he said he just wants this on record. Should this occur again, then court action may be needed.

W91 off with male party at Pleasant and Bellevue Avenue for acting in an erratic manner.

Caller on Wilshire Street reports a broken front windshield. Unit reports it appears to be done by a baseball. There were kids playing baseball in the area and it was not reported.

Party reports that while using his metal detector at Ingleside Park, he came across a syringe in the park. W92 secured the needle in Sharps box.

Unit reports motorcycle just cut off a motor vehicle on Revere and Summit Avenue and “popped a wheelie” then took off up the hill. Unit reports having a red motorcycle pulled over with an unlicensed operator. Another caller reports owner allows operator to consistently drive motorcycle on the sidewalks and in an erratic manner. Owner was on the scene and cited. The motorcycle was towed.

Caller reports kids on skateboards are causing a problem with pedestrians at Michael’s Mall. All is okay for now.

Party on Edward Street reports an issue with a neighbor next door. Units report the matter settled peacefully upon their arrival.

Caller on Edward Street reports a disturbance with a neighbor across the street. Units report neighbors settled the dispute peacefully upon their arrival.

Woman on Golden Drive reports a loud bang upstairs in apartment. 94 Curran reports no problem in upstairs apartment, but states this is harassment from the woman who called. Curran will speak with the female and explain use of police services for harassment of a tenant.

Monday, May 12

Party on Pearl Avenue reports an unresponsive patient there at the home. WFD and EMS notified. Officer reports a 40-year-old male patient being transported to MGH via EMS.

Report of a grass fire started in the back on River Road.
