Eleanor Cipoletta

Devoted Homemaker and Mother

Eleanor M. (Carroll) Cipoletta, a longtime resident of Beachmont Revere, died on July 14 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 82 years old.

The wife of the late James J. Cipoletta, she was born in Boston and raised in Charlestown, the daughter of the late John and Emma (Wilson) Carroll.

Mrs. Cipoletta, who was a devoted homemaker and mother, is survived by her three sons; James J. Cipoletta, Jr. of Winthrop, Russell Cipoletta of Revere and Randy Cipoletta of Cambridge.  She was the beloved grandmother of Randy, Jr., Hayley, Brian and Brandon and the great grandmother of Jaxson.  She is also survived by her brother Edward Carroll of California.  She was the sister of the late John Carroll.

Robert Walsh Sr.

Retired Vice President of Sales and marketing for Touraine Paint

Robert J. ‘Bob’ Walsh, Sr., of Keller, Texas, formerly of Winthrop, passed away on July 7. He was 85 years old.

Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and prior to his retirement, he was the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Touraine Paint.

The beloved husband of the late Suzanne A. (Doig) Walsh, he was the devoted father of Robert J. Walsh Jr. of Jackson, NH, Tirrell A. Walsh of Winthrop, Stacey M. Rosenberger and her husband, Gregg of Keller, TX, and Toni DiLorenzo and her husband, Michael of Port Charlotte, FL. He was born in Boston, the cherished son of the late James and Clara (Sheehan) Walsh and the dear brother of the late James and Joe Walsh. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were by the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St., Winthrop. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church and interment was in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society 43 Nagog Pk. Palma Law

Of Winthrop, Formerly of East Boston

Palma (Iantosca) Law of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, died on July 24.

She was the beloved wife of the late William “Billy” Law who passed away in April of 2012 after 55 years of marriage; dear sister of Angel R. Iantosca and Christine Capillo of Danvers and the Late Frank Iantosca and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Her Funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home on Monday, July 29 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Palma’s life in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop Street, Winthrop at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. For complimentary transportation to the funeral home please call 617-569-0990. Services will conclude with Palma being laid to rest alongside her beloved Billy in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. May they rest in peace.
