Donations Sought For Fireworks

At the last Town Council meeting Chief Paul Flanagan had stated that the town’s annual 4th of July Fireworks were in question.  No sponsor had stepped up to organize the event.  Town Manager, James McKenna expressed his concern to Chief Flanagan about making the July 4th fireworks happen.  At this time, Chief Flanagan is pleased to announce that the Fireworks will go on for July 4th with a rain date of July 5th.  Chief Flanagan has had both financial and logistical support from the Godfather of Fireworks, Lou Comacho.  Atlas Fireworks from Jaffrey, NH will be shooting the show and they are promising a memorable event.  One concern of Chief Flanagan’s is donations.  Due to the late start, the need for donations will be greatly appreciated.  Anyone who enjoys watching fireworks in their home town, please send a donation of any amount to:
