That was a nice presentation by the Chamber of Commerce to its former president, Paul Leavy, for his efforts in helping to host the organization’s annual cookout at his Woodside Ace Hardware store on Main Street.
The event was a complete success with excellent food, music, and spirit. Paul Leavy has been an important leader in our local business community for many years and we join the Chamber in recognizing his outstanding contributions.
Speaking of the Chamber, one of the best social events of the year is coming next Wednesday with the annual “Taste of Winthrop†that highlights the premier food establishments that we have in our town.
And on a final note, congratulations to Chamber Executive Director Eric Gaynor and his wife, Kelli, on the happy occasion that is coming early next year.
