Spring Has Sprung Opening Day at Fenway Marks Season

We know the calendar says that spring began on March 20, but we count ourselves among the New Englanders who consider Opening Day at Fenway Park as the true signal that winter is over and that it is time for some baseball and warmer weather.

This season at Fenway Park is a special one, with all the activities planned in coordination with the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park’s opening.

So we say good luck to the Red Sox and Happy Anniversary to Fenway Park. It certainly is an historic venue, but when you look at stadiums like Camden Yards and Jacobs Field and the new Miami Marlins’ stadium, you wonder if it’s time for a new Fenway.
