Help the Hobson Family Fundraiser to Assist Family Who Lost Home

We received a note from our former School Committee Chairwoman, Mary Lou Osborne, that a group of community people, calling themselves, “Neighbor 2 Neighbor” has formed and wishes to help address the ongoing needs of the Hobson family, who lost their home in an explosion in February.

According to Osborne, the family’s neighbors have set up a fund at the Winthrop Federal Credit Union and there will be a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on May 12 that will assist the family. Osborne is hoping that residents will attend the breakfast and assist in the donation of raffle prizes.
