Beach Restoration Update Senator Petrucelli Coming to Winthrop

The Winthrop Town Council has invited State Senator Anthony Petruccelli of this district to its meeting Tuesday night to update the town’s residents on the status of the Winthrop Beach Restoration Project.

The issue and the project have been in the news for several years and local groups such as the Winthrop Beach Citizens Action Committee have been advocating for the restoration of the beach for at least a decade.

There is no question that Sen. Petruccelli has been a great advocate for our town and he stays abreast of all matters relating to the town. The Council is looking to the senator for information on the project and we’re sure the senator will have done his homework and be in a position to give the Council the vital information it is seeking.
