Well Deserved Tribute: A Standing Ovation for Mary Lou Osborne

One of the most touching moments of the ceremony came when a citation was presented to outgoing School Committee chairwoman Mary Lou Osborne and the crowd rose as one to give her a standing ovation. The town of Winthrop greatly appreciated her service to the town and it was evident that Mrs. Osborne appreciated the heartfelt acknowledgment from those in attendance.

We hope that Mary Lou Osborne will choose to stay involved in our school system and our town government matters in the future.
