One of the most anticipated social and culinary events on the local calendar is set for next Wednesday, Sept. 21 when the Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual “Taste of Winthrop†at the Winthrop Yacht Club. Many Winthrop restaurants and food establishments will be participating in this great and fun evening. This year’s event has the additional treat of live musical performances. There also will be a silent auction.
The Chamber of Commerce is one of the most productive and hard-working organizations in the town and this is a great opportunity for residents to get to know some of the restaurant owners and sample their delicious foods. We encourage people to support the Chamber at its fundraiser.
