April 25

12:21 a.m. — The WFD helps a resident who was locked out of their home on Underhill Street.

12:22 p.m. — A caller reports a suspicious man has been sitting in a car with a dog in Shirley Park for quite some time. He was waiting from a friend to come home.

5:27 a.m. — A caller from an insurance company on Winthrop Street reports that the business’ front window has been broken.

11:44 a.m. — A Governors Drive resident reports receiving harassing phone calls. She is put in touch with the Verizon Annoyance Bureau trace service.

11:57 a.m. — An unregistered vehicle is towed from Thornton Park and Washington Avenue.

12:47 — WPD and WFD help a family get back into their home on Fairview Street.

2:10 p.m. — Aaron Desplaines, 33, of Winthrop, was arrested on charges of OUI (drugs) and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

3:39 p.m. — A Trident Avenue resident reports that her car suffered damage to its hood and headlights by a hit-and-run driver.

3:40 p.m. — An officer removed a syringe from Wilshire Street.

3:59 p.m. — A caller reports a car, with an expired inspection sticker, has been parked on Sea Foam Avenue for a number of days. An officer talked to the car’s owner, who recently purchased the vehicle and will have a new sticker by the end of the week.

6:45 p.m. — The ACO is asked to remove a dead squirrel from Pleasant Street.

9:20 p.m. — Officer respond to a George Street residence, where a parent reports that her 14-year-old son just left him with a baseball bat and possibly a knife. Officers locate the juvenile, who was transported home without incident.

10:56 p.m. — Officers respond to a Trident Avenue residence, where two males were allegedly fighting over a female. Both parties went their separate ways.

April 26

8:42 a.m. — An alarm was accidentally activated at Town Hall.

9:19 a.m. — WFD and National Grid are notified about a possible gas leak in the area of Winthrop and George streets.

12:40 p.m. — Officers respond to a verbal dispute between a father and his adult son on Putnam Street. All parties were advised of their rights.

1:26 p.m. — WFD is asked to help a woman who is locked out of her apartment on Veterans Road.

4:19 p.m. — Officers respond to a laundry store on Main Street on a report of a disruptive customer, but the patron is not there when units arrive.

5:48 p.m. — Officers settle a dispute between a small group of kids regarding a stolen sweatshirt.

April 28

9:25 a.m. — A resident reports receiving threatening phone calls from a pair of tenants against whom he has filed a Summary Process Action. He is given a victim-witness form to fill out.

10 a.m. — Danielle Kelsey, 27, of Winthrop was arrested on charges of shoplifting by asportation after units were called to the CVS Pharmacy on Woodside Avenue.

11:07 a.m. — Daniel J. Hunter, 30, of East Boston, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery/authority under 209-A6.

1:08 p.m. — Officers help settle a dispute between a taxi driver and an elderly resident, who doesn’t have enough cash to pay a fare. The two exchange information.

9:29 p.m. — Julia Soma McCartney, 21, of Burlington, was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a Class E substance and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

April 29

6:55 a.m. — A caller reports losing his wallet on a bus. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan returned the wallet a short time later and was returned to its owner.

12:13 p.m. — A caller reports “possible drug activity” in a silver BMW on Trident Avenue.

3:30 p.m. — A Shirley Street resident reports having an altercation with two people on the street. An officer responds and a report is taken.

8:04 p.m. — Officers remove a trespasser from apartment on Overlook Drive following a call from the Winthrop Housing Authority. A short time later, the man, John E. Rockholt, 44, of Winthrop, returned to the scene and he was arrested on a charge of trespassing on state property.

8:58 p.m. — A Revere Street resident reports witnessing someone giving a bag from a liquor store to a car filled with kids.

9:52 p.m. — The ACO is notified about a barking dog on Shirley Street.

April 30

4:10 a.m. — Islam Zinxhirija, 22, of Winthrop, was arrested and charged with speeding, failure to stop for police, marked lanes violations, resisting arrest and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

9:45 a.m. — A resident reports hitting a parked car. An officer assists her in leaving a note for the other party.

1:54 p.m. — A caller reports witnessing a cab driver drinking a beer in the taxi. The call was unfounded.

5:15 p.m. — An officer settles a dispute between neighbors on Golden Drive.

8:45 p.m. — A Marshall Street resident reports that his front door was smashed in. Officers are unable to locate any suspects.

11:54 p.m. — Taj Generazzo, 18, of Winthrop, was arrested for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

May 1

3:16 a.m. — Jason McGrath, 31, of Winthrop, was arrested on an OUI charge (second offense) following a traffic stop on Revere Street.

3:01 p.m. — A caller reports a small dog is in a car with the windows rolled up on Marshall Street.

3:08 p.m. — A young male was brought to the station, and his parents notified, after he was found to be carrying a very realistic replica of a revolver.

5:21 p.m. — A caller reports a cat is wandering around Putnam Place.
