This Sunday marks one of the most circled days on the National Football League’s calendar. The Patriots and the Colts will meet in Indianapolis, in prime time, on national television, in a renewal of what has become arugably the best present-day rivalry in football.
The game will tell us a lot about the Patriots, who are playing well but have yet to record the kind of victory that convinces us they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders. The same might be said of the Colts, who are undefeated but have spent much of this decade looking up to Tom Brady and Co.
Prediction? So glad you asked. We like the Pats. How’s 27-24 sound?
Time to fire up the bandwagon.
