TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27

8:33 AM: Officers responded to a MVA at 200 Gov. Drive in which an operator crashed into a fence and another MV. Neither MV was towed.

9:42 AM: An officer assisted the parties with the exchange of papers at a MVA at the Dunkin’ donuts parking lot in which an MV backed into another MV.

10:28 AM: Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance and restored the peace among family members.

8:35 PM: A Washington Ave. resident reported a B&E into his residence and that the burglar was still on the premises. Officers responded and arrested Roy Wells, 43, of Melrose, on an outstanding warrant and on charges of B&E in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony and malicious destruction of property over $250

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28

7:15 AM: A Billows St. resident reported that neighbors once again were slamming their MV doors earlier at 6:00 a.m. The caller was advised to report any future incident when it occurred.

9:09 AM: A tractor-trailer took off a crosswalk sign on Pauline St. at Larsen Rink. The mater was referred to the DPW.

10:45 AM: A report of a sinkhole on Somerset Ave. was referred to the DPW.

12:03 PM: A Bellevue Ave. resident reported the theft of a hood ornament from his 2009 Nissan Altima.

6:58 PM: An East Boston resident reported that his MV had been sideswiped while it was parked in front of Brown’s on Winthrop St.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29

8:27 AM: A 209A order was received from the East Boston District Court to be served upon a local resident named as the defendant.

8:28 AM: A 209A order was received from the Chelsea District Court to be served upon a local resident named as the defendant.

11:28 AM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Winthrop resident on Veterans Road and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVI of speeding.

1:05 PM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Winthrop resident on Veterans rd. and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVI of speeding.

4:16 PM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Winthrop resident on Veterans rd. and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVI of failing to stop for a stop sign.

6:15 PM: A call regarding a complaint about an animal was referred to the ACO.

10:11 PM: Several reports were made by citizens regarding gunshots being fired on Crest Ave. The officers spoke to the victim of the assault, who was not struck, and said a Honda Civic with six occupants who are members of a gang, MS13, drove by and fired a gun.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31

7:03 AM: A Grandview Ave. resident reported that a Honda Civic was parked in his driveway and he wanted it towed. The MV was towed and held as possible evidence on the shooting incident.

8:57 AM: An officer issued a citation to the operator of an MWRA truck on Tafts Ave. for a CMVI.

9:44 AM: A Lincoln St. resident reported that the front door into the common hallway of his apartment building had been kicked in.

11:55 AM: Officers responded to a report of a fight between two male parties in the street at Shirley St. and Neptune Ave. The fight had ended by the time the officers arrived. They took one of the parties home and the other walked away.

2:41 PM: A report of a dead possum on Pleasant St. was referred to the ACO.

2:56 PM: Youths vandalized a bench at Ingleside Park.

6:37 PM: A 209A order was received to be served upon a local resident named as the defendant.

6:55 PM: Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at the CVS. Four youths were given No Trespass orders and one youth was taken home.

7:54 PM: A caller reported that a large group of youths was throwing eggs at passing MVs in the area of the lower cemetery on Cross St. The officers located the youths on Payson St. and made sure they had no other objects.

8:15 PM: An officer ordered a tow for a MV on Harvard St. with an expired registration.

9:06 PM: Officers dispersed a group of youths on Hutchinson St.

11:35 PM: Officer Freeman stopped a MV on Trident Ave. and issued a citation to the operator for a CMVI.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31

12:28 AM: A report of an injured cat on Shore Drive was referred to the ACO, who came to pick up the animal.

11:33 AM: An officer assisted the parties with the exchange of papers at a minor MVA at the compost pile.

12:55 PM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Winthrop resident on Veterans Road. and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVI of failing to stop for a stop sign.

1:59 PM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Winthrop resident at Pleasant St. and Edgehill Road and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVI of speeding.

2:38 PM: A Quincy Ave. resident who had reported theft of the tires and rims from his Mini Cooper reported that his new rims, which have no theft locks, appeared to have been tampered with in an attempt to steal them.

2:49 PM: An officer stopped a MV operated by a Seabrook, N.H. resident on Veterans rd. and issued a citation to the operator for the CMVIs of speeding and failing to wear a seat belt.

4:25 PM: Off. Curran reported that while on patrol on Summit Ave. he observed two MVS parked with their trunks back to back, with one of the MVs parked facing the wrong way. Upon making an inquiry, the officer determined that there alcoholic beverages in the trunks of the MVs and that the individuals in the area were underage. The officer seized all of the alcoholic beverages and took the names of the youths to call their parents.

5:26 PM: An armed robbery by means of a handgun was reported at the Cove Convenience Store on Shirley St.

6:50 PM: A report of a fire in a barn on Pauline St. was referred to the WFD. Officers assisted with the evacuation of residents from nearby residences.

7:43 PM: A resident flagged down officers to report that three youths had just egged his home in the area of Bayview and Triton avenues.

7:56 PM: Officers dispersed a group of about 20 youths from the area of the parking lot at Cumberland Farms

8:40 PM: Officers dispersed a group of about 15 youths from the area in front of the CVS.

9:45 PM: A caller reported that her father’s house on Bowdoin St. had just been egged.

11:47 PM: A resident came into the station to report being assaulted by her 14-year-old son. Officers arrested him on a charge of assault & battery.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1

9:45 AM: A MV appeared to have knocked down a small tree and a sign pole on Main St. near Fairview Ave.

9:51 AM: Officers responded to a report of a fight in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot on Revere St. in which the victim was reported to be lying on the ground. Both parties, who are father in law and son in law, will be summoned into court on a charge of assault & battery.

10:27 PM: An officer ordered a tow for a MV on Shore Drive with a registration revoked for insurance cancellation.

9:12 PM: An officer ordered a tow for a MV on Woodside Ave. with an expired registration.
