A Blizzard Can’t Keep Spirits Down

The Fucillo family took advantage of the close to 20 inches of snow dumped on Winthrop
during this weekend’s blizzard to show some hockey and Team USA pride. Celebrations were
loud and spirits were high throughout the Town as the US Men’s Olympic Hockey team took
home the gold in Milan on Saturday, a feat not accomplished since 1980, where Winthrop’s very
own Mike Eruzione scored the game winning goal, 46 years ago to the day of this past weekend’s
Olympic matchup.
