at Boston’s Long Wharf for the christening of the new Winthrop-Boston Ferry, “Harbor Gem.”
The name was chosen by Onik Hashani (center, in green), a third grader in Winthrop at the
Arthur T. Cummings Elementary. Hasani commented,“I came up with ‘Harbor Gem’ because
Winthrop is next to water and it’s beautiful like a gem.”
