Thank You!
Dear Editor,
I’m writing to share some incredibly exciting news and to express my sincere gratitude for everyone’s support. On Saturday evening, the Winthrop Vikings Boys Hockey Team celebrated their remarkable 2025 Division 4 State Championship victory at a memorable event held at the Elks Lodge. Over two hundred people gathered to commemorate this outstanding accomplishment and celebrate the team’s incredible season.
The evening held special significance as we also honored the 1976 Division 1 State Championship team, marking a truly remarkable 49-year span between these momentous achievements.
A photograph capturing both championship teams together serves as a powerful testament to the enduring legacy of Winthrop Vikings hockey. The event was a resounding success, and a truly unforgettable tribute to the players, coaches, and the entire Winthrop hockey community.
Again, thank you everyone for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Coach Dale Dunbar
