Nomination papers will be available at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall beginning on Monday for the municipal election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
On the ballot this year are a two-year term for Town Council President, and four-year terms for one councilor-at-large seat and the precincts 1, 3, and 5 precinct councilor positions. Also on the ballot are one four-year housing authority position, three four-year school committee seats, and three four-year library trustee positions.

Townwide offices need at least 150 certified signatures. Precinct races need at least 50 certified signatures. Candidates are advised to return their papers to the Town Clerk’s office as soon as possible to be certain they have enough signatures to be placed on the ballot.

Polls will be open for the town election from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
