At Tuesday night’s council meeting, President Jim Letterie noted that there is a long ballot for this year’s election, with state ballot questions on the back of the first sheet of the ballot, and an additional state ballot question and the local school override question on a second sheet of the ballot.
“Just make sure you read the ballot completely, take a look at all questions, and just be aware that it is a very long ballot,” said Letterie.
Letterie said he expects about 9,000 voters to cast ballots in Winthrop for the election, and urged residents to take advantage of early voting.
Anyone with questions about the election or needs more information is asked to contact the town clerk’s office at (617) 846-1742.
