Dale Nicholas Woytaszek

Of New Hampshire, formerly of Winthrop

Dale Nicholas Woytaszek, 61, of Tuftonboro, NH, formerly of Winthrop, passed away at home suddenly on April 2.

Born in Boston to the late Henry and Priscilla (Pollard) Woytaszek, Dale spent most of his life in Winthrop where he graduated from Winthrop High School and started a family before relocating to New Hampshire.

He was a dedicated Logan Airport employee for many years, often sharing stories of the famous people he encountered during his time there and of the “hundreds” of live concerts he attended. A sci fi and B movie enthusiast, he spent many weekends enthralled in adventure with his then young son, Nicholas.

Dale enjoyed golf in his day, spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee and the peace of New Hampshire. He was a kind accepting man, willing to help those he cared for anyway he could. A walking encyclopedia of sports knowledge, you could be sure to find him watching any number of sports games and Sunday was reserved for the Patriots.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Henry Woytaszek and brother in law, Joseph Zedalis. He leaves behind his son, Nicholas Woytaszek, daughter in-law, Robin and beloved granddaughter, Diana of Winthrop and sisters, Christen Zedalis, Estell Zedalis and her husband, George of Tuftonboro, NH as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service to be held at a future date.

Alma Louise Homer

Retired Bookkeeper

Alma Louise Homer of Revere and formerly of Winthrop passed away at home on April 9. She was 93 years old.

Born in Winthrop, the beloved daughter of the late Annie T. (Gordon) and Edward H. Homer, she was a long-time resident of Winthrop and worked as a bookkeeper prior to her retirement.

She was the dear sister of Joan Homer of Revere, Eileen Ohlson of Wakefield and the late Winthrop Homer, Robert Homer and Edward Homer and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop on Wednesday, April 13. Interment was private.
