Winthrop and State Police at Ingleside Park

Members of the Winthrop Police Department and State Police with the Winthrop Police Explorers in front of a State Police helicopter that landed in Ingleside Park on Monday, Aug. 2. The helicopter was part of an event the Winthrop Police put on for their Exploerers in the summer camp, but ended up being a fun afternoon for many residents of the Town who came down to see what was going on.
A State Police branded Mustang was on display and available for the children to hop in and snap a picture in the driving seat.
State Police helicopter pilot goes over the various pieces of equipment on the chopper and answers questions from the Explorers.
